Thea turned back to the girls. “How did reading class go?” Thea said. “I liked it,” Ophelia said. “We’ve never done anything like that. There were so many people,” Cassandra said. “What did you learn?” Thea said. “We learned the Alphabet Song,” Arella said. “And what the letters look like, and what sounds they make.” “We had to draw them too,” Cassandra said.

I guessed. Ryle shook his head, a knowing smile on his lips. "These books are not important. But for those who wrote these, it's more than a treasure." My curiosity piqued as Ryle grabbed a book from the shelf and flipped through its pages. "Read this," he urged, handing it to me. It was a compilation of letters bound together like a book. I began to read aloud.

Debby nodded and took a deep breath. “I'll tell you after you finish all this. Trust me, my story is as long as yours..." Debby said and Lilly nodded. "Now tell me what letter this is..." Debby pointed to a letter and Lilly happily told her. Lilly told Debby three letters at once to memorize. With that, Lilly began to teach Debby to read slowly, while she read the book about Dryads in her hand.

“What!? Come on, go on, keep on reading, you wont leave your letters halfway will you?” “No" I replied slowly and shook my head. “I want you to read em, please read em for me.... I can't read em, I find it difficult to read em, please…” I added, placing the letters on her lap. “Styles, you are trying, just go on and keep on reading” She replied; dropping them back on my laps. “I said I can't" “you can” “No! I can't” “of course you can” “I said I can't bitch!!!”

I can tell Uncle Leo we aren't ready yet. 'I'm sure. I don't think it will help us, but it won't hurt either.' She said. I picked up the book. It was an old, deep brown, leatherbound book with the title in gold leaf. 'Tales of Olde'. It was heavier than I expected. Uncle Leo hadn't told me the title of the story so I skimmed the contents page. None of the titles mentioned an unnamed wolf. I sighed.

I asked, my confusion evident in my voice. Kaleb ignored my question, his eyes scanning the contents of the box with an intensity that made me feel like I was missing something. He handed me one of the books, his fingers brushing against mine. "What does it say?" he asked, pointing to the letters etched into the cover. I took the book, feeling a strange tingling sensation in my fingers. The letters were in Latin, and I struggled to translate them into English. Finally, I looked up at Kaleb, my eyes meeting his.

After a few minutes, he called me, I told him to bring my books, my clothes, and some other things. He brought them to me, I carried them and put them in my room. I took that book from the box and sat down on the bed. I opened the book and started reading it. It took 3 hours to complete that book, it was a beautiful love story I loved it. When I closed it, A letter slipped from it. I opened it, it was the same letter which was kept inside the gift that day. I brushed my fingers over the letters L.F I quickly recognized them.

However, because she was too focused on the mission, she immediately crawled up and grabbed the documents in the middle of the table. "Oh? What is this?" Sky tilted her head, examining the letters carved into the center of the desk. "It's like a winding road, perfect for the adventurous me. That means, it's the letter S for Sky." She traced the letter with her finger. "Then, this is the letter K for koala. And this is the letter Y for yeay!" Sky raised both hands, imitating how someone would cheer. A second later, she returned to focusing on the letters.

Just sneakers and a light jacket. The city was unusually quiet. I ended up at a small antique bookstore tucked between a florist and a tailor. It had no flashy signage, just a brass bell on the door and a handwritten welcome note in cursive. Inside, the scent of old paper and cedar wrapped around me like a story waiting to be told. I let myself drift between the aisles until a book caught my eye—Letters Never Sent. It was a collection of real, unsent letters from women over the last century. To lost loves, estranged mothers, unborn children.
