Memories of having smores with my great grandparents and my grandparents. Memories of them sharing laughs and drinks around the fireplaces while I listened to their stories. My favorites were the love stories, and second came the ones of war. While war isn’t something to celebrate, they told their stories in such a way that made the fighting almost sound romantic. They weren’t just fighting to protect themselves, but those they loved. I had the privilege of never having personally witnessed a war. My parents had made alliances and deals to make sure our kind wasn’t destroying each other over different world views or territory disclaims.

Lyra was having a good time, although there weren't many women in the group, and that made many of the male rebels try to conquer Lyra. She simply rejected them politely and then continued to celebrate, which made her feel safe. In the midst of the celebration, in the forest, a rebel kept running, wanting to reach the base as quickly as possible. His abdominal pain made him think very bad things, so he needed help as soon as possible. He appeared in the middle of the celebration unexpectedly, claiming that the war had begun. Everyone was scared, but then they went to help him and ask him what had happened.

Each war told a story of struggle, sacrifice, and the unwavering power of the Moon Goddess. The next war was simply called The War of Betrayal. The title alone sent a chill down my spine. It was a war that should never have happened, a war started by someone the Goddess once trusted. A great leader, once her most loyal warrior, had turned against her, leading an army of his own. The battle was fierce, and in the end, the traitor fell into the Goddess’s own hand. But the victory was bittersweet, many lives were lost, and trust was shattered forever.

There was a kind of respect in the way he let the question dangle. Some of the gods were happy watching their fights creating more and more creatures to add each army. One led by a beautiful queen, her hair and eyes as dark as her powers. Another by a powerful king, long golden hair, matching his eyes and skills. The war was long and bloody. But the king won the right to establish a kingdom here. Ilisterion- named by his name. Celirium- his eternal love, the queen of shadows. They equally loved and hated each other. When the war stopped some of the dark gods got bored and killed the queen after she gave birth to the only heir. Ilisterion begged and cursed.

It was then he got caught by my Mom to be cheating on her. It was a big blow for my Mom because several times he had promised to end the relationship but only for her to find out after a few months that the mistress was transferred to another house only. I was tired seeing their relationship fall apart. And that is why, here I am in a convent trying to have some peace of mind and saving myself from possible heartaches in the future. I don't believe in fairytales anymore. For lovers, it's only once upon a time they were happy, then they end. So here is my story.
