Who might be the cause of the burn marks? The Weaver watched as the dead Stray got swallowed by the earth. He thinks carefully about the happenings. The Weaver said that no human can pose a threat to them. Not even the curse woman. But he might be wrong about that. Or maybe it was the Weaver who was wrong about it. “You guys just wait. I’m going to get my revenge. Gree, let’s go!” The Weaver’s loyal Stray appears out of nowhere and places himself beside his master. He clasps his boney fingers around his master until the latter turn into smoke. Then followed by the Stray. Leaving a wisp of black smoke in their wake.

I can't continue hiding from my fate. "Give up." A man shouted at me. "NEVER!" I barked. And then the guy who is currently holding an arrow suddenly releases his grips on the arrow….. as the spare slowly fights its way towards me.

The boys quickly formed a defense stance behind each other giving me the chance to look at the source of such a strong voice. Blue symbols glowed faintly along its length. The stranger quietly whispered, “Forgive me…” Then released another shot. ⸻ The second arrow struck the Fourth Bell.

An arrow flew straight at us. Pain exploded in my shoulder as the arrow struck. “No!” Gib screamed, scrambling toward me as I tried to crawl out from under the hut. I reached for the arrow, desperate to pull it out, but a hunter grabbed my wrist. “Don’t! You’ll spread the poison!” The Duwlamarey let out an ear-splitting shriek, its fluid form rippling violently as if reacting to the chaos around it. The ground beneath us trembled like an earthquake was brewing.

“Shit. Listen, crunch through the trees. Footsteps. Heavy. Controlled.” A crunch echoes through the trees. Then another. Footsteps. Heavy. Controlled. Metal shifts softly. “They’re here,” Kat growls, grabbing my wrist hard, her grip bruising. “They’re here?” I choked out. “Kat, what the hell are they? Serene, you picking up more? Talk to us!” The hiss cut the air. An arrow slammed into the trunk above us, splinters raining down. The shaft quivered, black wood gleaming, silver tip carved with a strange symbol.

It rages wildly piercing the mist. Altarria shifts her weapon back to a bow again. She takes two arrows and aims to her left. The mist is still covering the surroundings. She breathes in and tries to stand steadily. She charges her arrows and they glow in red. Red lightning emits from them. She changes her bow position to horizontal. She moves from the wall and releases the arrows.

I crouched low, every hair on my body on alert. The eyes left, taking with them the horrible sensation of being watched. I relaxed but not fully. I can't sense them anymore, Astrid said. I was confused, someone came all the here to shoot just one arrow at me. He missed so why didn't he shoot another? I walked towards the angle where the arrow came from, I inhaled deeply. Arrows littered the sky as they fell to their targets. Me and Arizer ran into the fight, I let loose so many arrows hitting beast after beast. While Arizer was using his at my side. I ran out of arrows as I charged in. I pulled my sword from its sheath and was about to charge at a beast when I saw one cornering a small child who was petrified and crying while holding onto her little doll.
