The first arrow landed at my feet before dawn. It split the stone between my boots and trembled there, humming with a faint silver glow. A message. Or a threat. The courtyard had barely been repaired from last night’s chaos. Cracks still veined the ground where Kael had nearly torn it apart. Smoke drifted from braziers set around the Flame’s staircase. Guards lined the walls, tense. And now the outer packs had arrived. I bent and pulled the arrow free. A strip of dark cloth was tied to it, marked with the sigil of the North Ridge pack.

The little child can't even scream with how fast Alvin brought him inside the coaster. When Chad was about to say something, one of Alvin's men put a handkerchief on his nose and mouth. Chad fainted. Alvin started to smoke when they were now heading to their hideout. An abandoned industrial site in a remote area. "Done," he said. He relaxed now while watching N*****x inside the coaster. Everything is perfectly done. He smiled. He was watching Chad while he was at sleep. "I am sorry little boy, I will make it quick then. I will not let you suffer that long," he said while touching his hair.

Elara's words echoed in my mind, urging me towards a calmness I wasn't sure I possessed. "Hold," Elara whispered. "Find your anchor point." I brought my hand with the released string to the corner of my mouth, a point Elara had designated earlier. It felt awkward, yet strangely stable. "Now, the release," Elara continued. "Don't think about the arrow. Think about letting the string flow freely, like releasing a captured bird."

How was it possible that both of them decided against showing up. Whilst he was thinking about that, he felt a strange aura homing in on him. Though it was faint, Warren knew he couldn't disregard it, precisely since he was in such a precarious situation. The aura that was coming towards him turned out to be a Reiteki-infused arrow, traveling at an immense speed. Warren could see the trajectory of the arrow, simply from the number of people who fell to the ground. As the arrow was flying towards Warren, it went through a lot of people in the audience and killed them almost instantaneously. Everyone who saw it, was horrified by the sight.

I grab my bow and aim at the stranger “STOP OR I WILL SHOT!” The stranger doesn’t stop so I feel my body pull back the string, then aim at the ground between the two of them. Then I release the string, the arrow flies straight towards the them and lands exactly where I wanted it to land. Both of them jump apart and I already have another arrow on the string pointed at the stranger. They both turn ready to fight the intruder, but as soon as they see me, Cooper puts his weapon away, the stranger freezes. Cooper slowly walks towards me and then stands beside me, turning to face his attacker.

Scott said to me, I know he was trying to make Evan angry and jealous, but I hope Evan should stay still While Scott was swinging me, I saw a figure on top of the building close to us, the figure raised a bow, it made a move of going from one end to the other, my mind wasn't where Scott was anymore, as I tried to understand what the figure was doing, the figure kept doing the same thing, then it made a sign of an arrow "A moving sign! A bow! An arrow! JADEN!!" I shouted inwardly I understand he needed an arrow, slowly I placed my hands on my back and brought out an arrow, Scott was busy talking as he did not feel or notice what I was doing,

The first light of dawn bled through the shattered window pane, casting cold, fractured shadows across the mahogany desk. Beside the pool of gray light, the arrow sat like a corpse on display. I stood over it, the heavy silk of my nightgown offering little protection against the morning chill as Ethan ran a calloused thumb along the shaft. "The fletching is made from the feathers of a northern tundra hawk," Ethan muttered, his jaw tightening as he looked up at me. "This wasn't shot by a random rogue, Aria. This arrow belongs to the personal armory of the Northern Border Guard."

He got a stiffy just being NEAR a woman like Anya. "Hey guys," said Nathan excitedly. There was another man beside him when he emerged from the building. "Snake?" Mindy exclaimed, embracing the thin man. Snake was one of the Strays who had left after the last battle with the Hellspawn. He was a thin man whose Talent was the ability to run at tremendous speed across or even up most any surface. "Yeah," he said with a blush. "Nathan told me what was up and . . . and I felt like crap for leaving anyway so . . ."

Jack said over the radio, the man throws the walkie talkie to the ground and and steps on it, shattering it. The man uses the axe and tears the bus four tyres, satisfied with what he's done, he picks up Peterson's bloodied head and holds his leg with his right hand, dragging his body away into the bush as he disappeares from sight. ___________________ "Helena where are we heading to?" Larry said as his girlfriend drags him along the dark bushes. "To find a suitable and safe spot." Helena replied, looking back at him and winked. Larry just couldn't say anything.

It took another week before Purity was up and moving on her own. Libidi and Pru weren’t around the house much as they worked at STRAYTIS for Lasci, who was ready to get things back to normal. He hadn’t heard or felt the stranger that had visited last week but was on guard, keeping a close eye on Purity.
