The Reaper's Pet

The Reaper's Pet

Shouldn’t you be teaching me those tactics? “No, that’s not a good idea. Keep in mind that being natural is the name of the game. Start a conversation by making a comment about the present situation and the immediate environment. Always be aware of your surroundings.” {Hmm. Know your terrain. Sun Tzu. I dig it.} He treats the whole affair like a war campaign and I can’t blame him. Destruction and the taking of life are the only things he knows. But coming from Sun Tzu, there are more relevant maxims for him: knowing oneself and one’s enemy.

The Pack's Doctor

The Pack's Doctor

Marking, mating, making her mine? I force myself to focus, especially in Art of War where we learn that we’re going to not only learn to fight, but learn to fight with different weapons, bows and arrows, knives, and whatever we can find around us if we’re caught off guard and taken down by our opponent. We’ll also be learning different hold techniques and how to get out of holds.

So I read the Packs doctor and it was awesome. Love the story. Yara is awesome. Love her character. Then once the tax doctor is over, it continues with the Packs nemesis. Now I’m reading this. And this is good too. I enjoy. It is basically the story of Quirin and Kennedy. I’m really enjoying it.

I absolutely love The Pack’s … EVERYTHING! I’ve read every book so far and continue to search weekly to see when the next one comes out! I just love the entire storyline and hope that it continues on for a very long time! I’m so anxious to see the quads take over! lol

Aliara: The Kingdom

Aliara: The Kingdom

After that, I returned to wandering around the whole place, looking for the books that we were going to use. I stopped at the part where the books were arranged and took the one that caught my interest. I blew air to it to remove the dust that was covering the book and read what the title says in our own language. The Art of War. I looked into another book, the title that was written on it was Heart of a Warrior. I grinned and took other books that were needed and related to combat and being a warrior. I STOPPED by the window of this room, the assembly hall. Along with my halted steps were the pauses of the people that were walking behind me.

The Moon Goddess' Mate

The Moon Goddess' Mate

“You really did your homework on him, huh?” “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles,” he answered with a shrug. “Sun Tzu, The Art of War.” I recognised the quote a mile away, but I was surprised Jasper was familiar with it. “Reading is a good pastime when you live in the forest.” he shrugged once more and I couldn’t help the smile that bloomed on my face which turned into a blush when I saw everyone watching us. “We have to find out what Dark is after, if we find it first we may be able to level the playing field against him.” Alpha Devin’s authoritative voice rang through the office surprising me.

Totally just took a break from another book to binge this one! Beyond happy with the frequent updates, too! This is the second book in a series, and I’ve been able to tell from the very beginning that this will be just as good as the first!!

The Life The Beginning

The Life The Beginning

"If you go down there with your face looking like that, as skittish as she is right now, she'd probably bolt." "What's wrong with my face?" "Never mind, what do you plan to do?" "What did I teach you about Sun Tzu?" "Ah, shit, no. You're not about to go Tony Montana on these people, are you? Because I gotta tell you, our town is too small for that shit." "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting." "Coulda fooled me. Didn't you just bash somebody's face in like a week ago?" "There is no instance of a nation benefiting from prolonged warfare."

The CEO's Contractual Wife

"Those records stay locked away unless someone gives me a reason to look. I'm not interested in random people's offshore accounts." "Just your enemies." "Just the people who threaten what's important to me." His foot found mine under the table. "That's how this works. You protect what matters." I understood the implication. He was protecting his position at Carter Enterprises. Protecting Carter Enterprises. Protecting his future. Protecting us, in whatever weird way this arrangement had evolved into. "So you're basically building an arsenal without firing a shot," I said. "Deterrence is more effective than actual warfare." He refilled my wine glass. "Sun Tzu said the supreme art of war is to

I am reading this book and the other book you are currently serialising. Both have exceptional storylines, excellent grammar and I am absolutely obsessed with reading them. My only disappointment is with this novel you are only updating every weeks with between 5-7 chapters which is no enough.

So sorry to hear the author is recovering from illness. Hope he will continue this story when he is able. This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Praying for a speedy recovery for him!

Wounded Rose of Garden Metro

Wounded Rose of Garden Metro

“How to build leverage. Read people. Find cracks in their masks.” He studied her for a long moment. Then he stood and walked to a nearby bookshelf, pulling down a thin, worn book. He handed it to her. “The Art of War.” “Elara,” he said, voice calm, “there are rules to this kind of war. And the first is understanding that most battles are won before they’re ever fought.” She took the book, her fingers tracing the faded cover. “Then I better start reading.” That night, as she sat curled up in the corner of her new room, flipping through chapters of Sun Tzu, she didn’t feel like a victim anymore.

The Don's Daughter

The Don's Daughter

VITTORIA’S POV Three days before the wedding, I was sitting in the library. Not hiding. Not lurking. Sitting, comfortably, curled into one of the leather lounge chairs with a book resting open in my hands. The Art of War. Sun Tzu had lived and died long before men like Nikolai De Luca ever learned to call themselves kings, but strategy never aged. Power never changed. Only the pieces on the board did. I liked ancient warfare texts. They were honest. They didn’t pretend victory came from morality or mercy. They understood what most people refused to admit, wars were won before the first blow was struck.

Sacrificed To The Alpha

Sacrificed To The Alpha

When she found it, she took it home with her. The Art of War was a famous ancient Chinese text written by Sun Tzu, a general who served as the Chancellor of Shu during the Sixteen Kingdoms period. In the book, Sun Tzu wrote about war and strategy. One of the greatest lessons he taught was to remain calm, even when facing your enemies. Jewel opened up the book and turned to chapter four. It was titled, "Know Your Enemy."
