"Nothing can break you guys up?" Harry sat back on the chair, his gaze intent and intimidating. Simon boasts, slapping his fists on his chest like a gorilla. Harry dropped the knife and held his head. I know this spell is very potent and can kill any creature that is weaker than me. Harry looks at me as his eyes turn red and as if he can not believe I am as strong as I am. They all think I am a weak witch because I can not defeat those damn magical wolves, but the wolves have magical powers straight from the Moon Goddess.

I can control it, but who knows, maybe we can extract its strength and transfer its dominance to you!” I stared at him confidently.

“…right.” Harry’s smile widened, not playful this time, but satisfied, like he had been waiting for me to say it. “Good.” My stomach twisted. “Why are you pushing me like this?” His shadow stretched across mine as he leaned forward, his voice quiet and dangerous. “Because powers only sharpens when you stop lying to yourself. Stop pretending this is an accident. Stop pretending you can contain it. This—” His fingers brushed the faint violet glow at my fingertips, sending sparks across my skin. “—was never meant to be silenced.”
