Chapter Five *In Myozola* Koyala and his team teleported to an abandoned building. It used to be their headquarters before they were forced to move out when the Force's soldiers kept on ambushing them. "I can't imagine this used to be a fortress, a place where everyone knew they would be safe. Now look at how it is," said Maya. Maya's mother was a healer and had been taken captive by the Force. She hadn't heard from her for a very long time. She didn't even think she would be alive. The place brought back bad memories and Koyala understood, so he just went over to her and assured her that it would be over soon.

I held her waist and flew upward. Claire screamed and closed her eyes in surprise. I chuckled. "Hey! Open your eyes. You will enjoy the view from up here. Promise!" She gradually opened her eyes. She looked overwhelmed but eventually seemed to enjoy the view. "Wow!" "See?" "You know you're like Supergirl!" "Supergirl? Who's that?" "It's a TV show. I'll show you later. Like you, she has powers, too." "Do you know Supergirl? I want to see her and know where she came from." She suddenly burst into laughter and my forehead furrowed.

I immediately pick my phone grateful to have something doing, at least I would stop thinking of a million ways to confess my sins and be condemned I would probably be stoned or gunned down. “911”, Luca states bringing me out of my head. “Sure”, I reply fumbling with the buttons for a while, when I finally get the operator I sigh in relief. “This is 911, what’s your emergency?” the operator who happens to be female says. “Yes I'm Aria Roberts and my friend just called me to say she was dying”, I say looking at Luca who is nodding in approval. “Okay, I’ll like to ask you to remain calm ma’am, where’s this friend and where are you?” the operator says.

I was sure as hell I blinked twice or even more. She was the Sindy Kate. “Sindy?” And I almost didn’t catch her reaction when her posture turned rigid, and her glowing big eyes widened—even wider, then blinked away. Those big eyes—they were green when I felt like we stared at each other that night. My heart leaped up to my throat. But this woman had a pair of dark ocean blue. Nevertheless, I was relieved that she was beautiful in the flesh than on the screen. “Clyve, this is Westley—” Wait a minute, she’s Westley? I thought she was a guy. What the fuck?

He urged. The female voice came back on. “I am Zarya, Eulalia of the sirens. Any who carry the blood of sirens and any supernaturals who do not, but disagree with what has been done to supernaturals, follow your heart to me and help us fight. Spread this message.

she argued, feeling her face grow hot with anger. Maya Fallon. The emergency name. A name used by the female Slayers when faced with any instance where they risked their identity. The name would immediately flag up on the Guild's system, and the guild would assist immediately. Jake will have called or messaged with the situation, so the Guild was very for the search for medical records and would have had something prepared. This was something she never thought she'd have to use. She was always so careful. She appreciated the safety net, but she saw it as a failure to have to use it.

Still, her strength now could crush a small horde by itself. Instead of taking a large squad, Joanna decided to bring a gathering team. She gathered Jake with his metal superpower, Jolie with her plant power, Julian with his rare electricity power, and Allen with his earth power. Once everyone was focused, Joanna activated her teleport ability, warping the five of them directly into Westridge.

"Why are the two of you dressed like this in the same room, otherwise?" "Stop trying to cause a scene, Gina!" Liam's expression twisted in an ugly manner. "Does seeing Jennifer and me fight make you happy? You're the real psycho here!" "Please, even if I'm a psycho, I'd never be as twisted as you!" Gina pointed disdainfully at the bath towel that was about to slip off his waist again, eyes filled with mockery. Liam was filled with rage, his eyes growing redder with each second. Just as he was about to lash out, the crossdressing Supergirl suddenly yelled, "Help! There's a fire!"

At the end of the day, any decision that gets made is hers and hers alone, and I’m grateful that I have an amazing Alpha in her and that I don’t have her job. I inhale deeply. It’s with that deep inhale that I smell my favorite scent in the whole world, warm cherry pie. I know my mate is near. It’s then that I heard the knock on the door. “Come in, Beautiful” I call to Zella, my mate as I lift my head up while still remaining hunched over the desk. Thought to be a Hebrew name meaning, “wolf” the name Zella only encapsulates one small part of who this wonderful woman is. Yes, she is a wolf. But, she’s also my mate, the female Beta of the Crimson Snow Pack, a strong warrior who balances that s
