Unlike other supernatural creatures hunters did not have other supernatural powers other than their speed that they can only use if their prey is near them. Hunters could not shift like any other shifters. Supernatural creatures could not catch human diseases and die but hunters could. Hunters did not have an immunity system as werewolves. Supernatural creatures can be killed by normal weapons but if silver is used then there is no chance for that creature to stay alive on other hand hunters could be killed by any weapons.
