Hunters then used it against the supernaturals. I hated the concept of hunters with a fucking passion because they were taught that all supernaturals were a threat and needed to be eliminated. There was only one hunter family that I had ever come across that believed supernaturals, just like humans, could be good or bad depending on their own choices and actions. I actually enlisted their help over the years whenever I would come across dangerous situations that threatened humans but could not get involved.
