He was barely holding back his laughter, and the corners of his mouth twitched with the effort. His composed demeanor only made my anxiety spike higher, like a fevered pitch in my veins. Bryan, on the other hand, was sweating profusely, his face a mask of mortification. Beads of sweat trickled down his temples, and his hands trembled as he tried to steady himself.

There was some kind of uneasiness that settled at the bottom of his stomach and it twisted the whole of his intestines into many forms. He wiped away beads of sweat from his forehead with the back of his arm. The edge of his suit sleeve suffered the injustice of being wet from all the water that formed there. He hissed out of annoyance when he realized that he was falling into some kind of anxiety mode. Something he hadn't felt in years.

Most of the time, when I was with him, he was either looking frustrated or angry. “You should smile a lot… I think it suits you well,” I averted my eyes from him and pretended to focus on the book I am reading. But the thing is, my throat really feels dry yet I am sweating which is so strange. I tried to even my breath and tried not to look too obvious that I am starting to feel nervous in front of him, knowing we are the only people inside this vast library. I shouldn’t give a hint that I am starting to feel uncomfortable because of that d*mn, gorgeous smile.

She scrunched her nose. I’m sorry, I just don’t feel like myself. I sighed. You’re just nervous, plus you have been through a lot these last few months. Why don’t you try and nap for a bit? Ryott suggested. Nah, I’m okay. I just want the day to hurry up and end. I sighed. Nera just been a major chatter box and prancing around. I think she's even given me a headache. I pulled away from his hand "I'm going to get my tab!" I said quickly and returned to my room.

His blood was wildly boiling; veins had long protruded everywhere on his sweat-drenched skin. He nervously clenched his teeth while swallowing deepily; trying to get rid of a lump that was dancing in the chambers of his throat. His dilated eyes with shock sharply darted up and down the blue screen of his phone that for some reason proved to be heavy for his sweating hand. A frown had long glued itself across his forehead, shamelessly finding a temporary home immediately when he had switched his phone on. Questions and thoughts raced in his head, making it hard to think of anything else but that one thing that bothered his heart.

I’ve been a nervous wreck since yesterday. Don’t get me wrong, I was overjoyed when Sorrell agreed to go out with me, but this is our first date and I want everything to be perfect.
