He was barely holding back his laughter, and the corners of his mouth twitched with the effort. His composed demeanor only made my anxiety spike higher, like a fevered pitch in my veins. His blood was wildly boiling; veins had long protruded everywhere on his sweat-drenched skin. He nervously clenched his teeth while swallowing deepily; trying to get rid of a lump that was dancing in the chambers of his throat. His dilated eyes with shock sharply darted up and down the blue screen of his phone that for some reason proved to be heavy for his sweating hand. A frown had long glued itself across his forehead, shamelessly finding a temporary home immediately when he had switched his phone on. Questions and thoughts raced in his head, making it hard to think of anything else but that one thing that bothered his heart.
