Iridian
With just a slight tremor in my hand, I extended my arm towards him.
His fingers brushed against the pulse in my wrist, too soft and fast to have felt the spike in my heartrate.
“It’s beautiful.” I mumbled, staring down at the piece of jewelry.
It was beautiful, glittering and catching the light. Small obsidian gems dangled from the bracelet, like little beads of darkness.
“Would you like to see what it does?” He asked, more than a flicker of excitement shining in his eyes.
“I would.” I nodded, surprised that I was actually telling the truth.
