Tables Turned

Tables Turned

"If I didn't get out, how else would I catch you all fawning over her?" The slap echoed sharply, a sudden sting across my cheek. Ryan glared at me, his voice heavy with contempt. "Why are you speaking like that? Have we been too soft on you?" Nathan's kick landed hard against my chest. "Get out of the way! Jasmine's getting scared by your freakish looks!" James's voice carried a chilling warning. "Spout off again, and you'll wish you were dead."

The Predator

The Predator

An old lady spoke up, a little bit giddy and excited about the thought that they might be able to get away from the scorching heat. “Soon,” I smiled. “Can’t we mount wall fans in here?” Ruth asked, genuinely confused. “Uhh, no dear. It will make the spices fly when we put them in the pot,” Lesly explained. “And it might cause someone’s clothes to catch fire,” “Besides, putting fans without good ventilation will only give you hot air which is not going to help them with the heat.” I shrugged. “Ooh, right,” Ruth nodded. “Anyways, Lesly, I've heard some complaints that there's a delay in serving food. What seems to be the problem?”

Dear author I hope all is well. I wonder if thIs story ever gonna be completed? I’m losing my patience for waiting this long. Have this needy urge to delete the story from my library but somehow it still captivates me. Kindly post an explanation or a note whether u r gonna finish this anytime soon.

Nice book. It’s well written and the characters and plot are interesting. I want to read more. Glad to know it’s completed. Ivy is very bold and I like the sexual tension between them. Can’t wait to read more

Things occupy space, whether it’s a car, an air fryer, fear etc. Butterflies in my wall, they take up space too. All the things I’ve done, they are all in the back of my head, Knocking the front door every once in a while. They are like the aunt you never invite, because she never really leaves. We keep it inside a locked shelf, just in case. I sat in the corner of the living room, next to a drawer; biting my non existing nails. Biting into your flesh is hurtful, but when the other plate is something way worse, you sing “heigh-ho” and happily poke holes in your skin.

Death Notice

Death Notice

Outside the room, they could hear the panic and fear from the woman. Creak. The door opened. Instantly, a large group of flies flew away. When the tattooed man and the rest saw the woman in the vat, their faces were full of flies. They all opened their mouths. “Aiya, what’s going on? There are so many flies. Go, go, go!” The bearded man waved his hand, and the hundreds of flies flew away. Some of them went into the bathtub through the gaps in the wooden planks. The woman’s face was evenly smeared with cream and honey. There were dense black spots on her face where the flies had stung.

Rendezvous

Rendezvous

She had never expected to see a plane that contained lamps, faux plants, curtains, and a dining room table. "This is where we sit," Cassandra instructed her when they'd reached the row of armchairs. On the left side, were two recliner chairs with a retractable television screen. On the other side, was a dining room table surrounded by four chairs. Of course, every piece of furniture was bolted down in some way. A flight attendant once explained to her that in order to keep objects from flying around if they hit turbulence, they had to install a sheet of metal into the core of each table. Then the base of each lamp and vase contained a magnet, which would keep them in place.

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending! It was definitely a little slow to get going - the first like 25 chapters seemed to drag on, but once it picked up, it was very intriguing and well written. Recommend reading - good job author!
