I let out a sharp breath and pushed the bedsheet away. “I really thought it was dye, I promise.” I defended myself, though not with much confidence, feeling quite confused. I truly believe that was bleach. I believed it was simply the natural shade of blue that would make it appear whiter. “Take a look,” she said, pulling out the bleach she had brought and opening it for me to see. It is nearly colorless, much like water. I trembled in disbelief; this was worse than anything I had ever experienced.

And with that, the swarms of brocade mites were sent fleeing, all of them crawling straight out of the bathtub. It was as if the steaming green medicinal fluid was poison, and those that were too slow died right away and floated in the water.

he yelled. "Anything else? Shit? Jerk?" Lynn continued laughing. "You can't even cuss, Mahone. How are you going to make an infinite mirror, huh? Listen, you better get out from this damn room, or I am going to call Father. He's in his study room." Mahone put down his safety glasses and stood up, shooting a passionate glance at his project, "Tu es horrible frère!" Lynn heard that and laughed in mind. "Use at least seventy percent alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, isopropyl alcohol and wipe the sheets with a microfiber cloth. I hope you find the chemicals in your school lab," he moved away from the door.

"It's bad. I think maybe if I open the windows and air it out, it might help some, but there's no question that it's going to take some bleach, too. Lots of bleach." Jenny nodded slowly. "Okay. So . . . we need bleach. And vinegar and baking soda." At my questioning glance, she explained, "It's good for cleaning sinks and showers and toilets. Great for deodorizing, too." She looked back at my car. "It's not furnished, is it?"

I watched in amazement as it flew towards the sink, its tiny wings beating furiously as it landed on the faucet handle. As I turned on the tap, the bee began to frantically gesture towards the soap dispenser. I followed its lead, squeezing a dollop of soap onto my hand and lathering it up before carefully applying it to the coffee stain on my dress. To my amazement, the stain began to fade away, leaving no trace behind.

Lucy whispered, her voice barely audible. "I... I was trying to move it," Zoe stammered, her words coming out in a rush. "I thought it was hanging too close to the heater, I was holding my wine, and I reached for the dress, but I tripped over my own heels. I grabbed the cleaning supplies on the shelf to steady myself, and the bleach cap wasn't on right... it just happened so fast, Lucy. I tried to wipe it off, but it made it worse." Lucy looked at the shelf Zoe was pointing to. The bleach had been tucked away in the back of the closet behind a stack of towels. It wasn't something someone would accidentally grab to steady themselves.

Leviathan is still at my side, completely oblivious about stepping on flies, while Mammon seems to utter some demonic cusses addressed to Belzeebub. Pained groans were all over the store and I began to realize that the flies weren’t just feasting on displayed goods; they were also on their way to eating humans. The civilians who got swarmed by the flies all had wounds where the skin was peeled. Some were dead and have missing chunks of meat and flesh taken from their bodies. It was so gruesome that I was almost engulfed in the scent of blood. Are flies even carnivores?! I hate to think about what would have happened if I hadn’t called on Leviathan to activate the sprinklers.

Flies are buzzing around the lid, which quite simply turns me off opening it. "What the hell are you doing Celeste? It's really revolting..." Curiousity wins me over. I take a deep breath then block my breathing. I carefully open the lid finding a swarm of disgusting insects under it. In spite of my precautions, I find it difficult to curb a spasm of disgust.
