And immediately something inside me settled. “Oh.” Tims noticed instantly. “Yes,” she said smoothly. “This feels more like them.” It really did. Soft enough to feel magical. Elegant enough to age well in pictures. Still playful without becoming overstimulating. “Silver accents create light reflection,” Tims explained while sliding another sample toward me. “Children respond emotionally to softness and shimmer more than overwhelming brightness. This palette feels dreamy instead of chaotic.”

Eva, ever the enthusiastic friend, took the lead, dragging Flora from one display to the next. “So, what kind of look are we going for?” Eva asked, her eyes gleaming with the thrill of the hunt. “Modern, rustic, bohemian?” Flora pondered for a moment. “I think I want something minimal, but with a soft, pastel touch. I had to be as neutral as possible. Sephy caught my attention with a color palette. She pointed out the different colors: Chestnut, moss, pine, sunflower, cordovan and tuscan red. I blinked at the influx of information, staring at the earthy and pastel tones. They seemed to all go well together, forming a cohesive band of colors.
