I crumbled, tears streaming down my face as he held me, whispering reassurances into my hair and placing occasional kisses on my neck. Gradually, the raging emotions inside me calmed. He lifted my chin, our eyes locking. The love in his gaze was undeniable, soothing the ache in my chest. He kissed my tear-stained cheeks, first the right, then the left, his tenderness grounding me. His eyes moved to my lips, and I instinctively leaned in, eyes fluttering shut. His soft chuckle made me open my eyes, finding him gazing at me with a love that made my heart soar.

She felt goosebumps all over her body. His kiss trailed down on her neck and then on the collarbone. His fingers trailed on her back, unzipping her dress, and slowly he let the dress drop down through her shoulders. Their clothes flung down on the floor within a minute, and the intensity of the kiss increased. Their breathing entangled, and they lost at that moment. Lisa’s nails dug on his bare back while a few drops of tears rolled down from the corner of her closed eyes. He kissed her tears, and his movement slowed down a bit. He whispered in her ear, “Breath, love.”

The kiss ends too soon, and we pull away panting slightly, our foreheads pressed together once again and tears well in my eyes. "Why are you crying? Are you hurt?" I can feel Tate tense above me, his face filled with worry and his eyes scanning for any signs of injury. I giggle at his reaction and wrap my arms around his next, pulling Tate closer to me and burying my face into the crook of his neck. "They're happy tears." I giggle, kissing his mark gently. Tate sighs with relief, turning us until I am lying on top of him again. His fingers wrap around my hair, playing with the chestnut locks staring into my eyes.

The chauffeur turned on the car and the stereo, and then came Nikky Minaj, while he glided into the long road. “You know one good thing about black guys in Guts Island?”. Laura spoke into my ear. “They don’t suck pussies, but they are long between their thighs, and they can get you crazy with just a thrust”. I smiled at how silly and bitchy her words sound in my ear, but those words brought a flash of my ex-husband; he literally doesn’t suck to get me to my climax, he tortures me into it. “Maybe you should try one tonight”. I felt a hot tear leak out, burning as it slipped down my cheek. Owen nodded slowly. "I understand." He reached out and wiped the tear from my face with his thumb, cradling my jaw in his hand. His eyes shone with tears as he leaned forward and kissed me softly. I closed my eyes and tried to put every detail of it into my memory. I mentally cataloged it, trying to secure it in my mind so I would forever remember it.

I plead with him as tears begin to trickle down my face. Hunter remains stoic, but I can see traces of tears threatening to fall from his eyes as well. Hunter pulls me close to him one last time, tilting my head up to meet him partway. I would normally go up on my tippy toes. However, I don’t have the strength for that. So instead, Hunter gently picks me up, careful not to jostle any of my injuries. Our lips connect like magnets, pulling us close together. I can feel a soft wetness pour into our kiss. For the first time, Hunter isn’t holding back his emotions, allowing himself to feel as our tears blend into our kiss. We both know this is the end for me, for us.
