I have read a few of these books. Shaking away the strange icy feeling I flip open the cover and start to read. The sun has started sinking, the sky painted with hues of purple, orange, and red. This is truly my favorite time of day. The book was short but there was a lot of information on werewolves. Information, what do I mean, werewolves don't exist. Or do they? It is that voice again. The same one from this morning. A voice that isn’t mine. A voice inside my head.

Most of the books were more ledgers than anything, records of the pack’s history, but there was small section of classic books, some of which appeared to be first editions. Feeling a little excited over the prospect I searched the title, looking at the familiar names, the literary classics, before stopping on a title I had never heard of by an author I didn’t know. I was a big reader I always had been, so it was rare for me to come across an old book that held no recognition whatsoever. With a careful touch I pulled the leather-bound book from the shelf and read through the blurb finding myself amused as I discovered that the book was story of werewolves, apparently written by a human, a fan

SERAPHINA POV We all stopped, just as 12 werewolves in wolf form walked out of the woods to surround us. Every step we went to make in any direction earned us another growl. I knew some of these wolves, Lilith was sending me the reminder of their scents from the only time I was in a pack. All the thing I just told the guys and some of the other stuff that happened there came back. It wasn't a very nice pack, the Alpha was but the pack itself was terrible. "Nix, Seb these wolves.. these wolves they come from that pack I was in at 14."
