BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS
The temperature in the room seemed to drop.
When I spoke, my voice was calm ... too calm.
“I forget nothing.”
I took a step forward, my gaze sweeping across them.
“You sit here in your stone chamber, quoting laws written by dead wolves who never met me. You talk about fate as if you can command it. But let me remind you who I am.”
The runes beneath my feet flared white, reacting to the rise in my energy.
Every breath I took carried power .... thick, raw, ancient.
“I am the Alpha of Alphas,” I said, my tone echoing across the hall. “The chosen of the Lunar god. I don’t kneel to councils. I don’t take orders from voices that tremble at shadows.”
