“I have nothing with him.” “Liar,” he says. “Then to hell with you.” I cross my legs. “I want our contract cancelled.” “Contract?” His nose flares. “We have so many contracts together. Which of them?” “Milena. I'm taking her from you. You can keep all the benefits.” My hands slide into my pockets. “See it as a gift from a brother to another.” Sometimes generosity is my weakness. Well, that’s part of what makes me an Alpha.

He now sat at the end of the bed with his hands on his lap. “Nothing has been finalized,” Allister growled. Callan let out a sadistic laugh. “Another thing you are wrong about.” He took his cell phone out of his pocket and pulled something up on his phone. “I have right here the signed and executed contract between myself, Alpha Constantine, and Alpha Samuel.” Allister clenched his hands into fists at his sides. “You had no right to meddle in our affairs.”

“The Alpha of the War pack?” “Yes. He sent us and paid a huge sum of money for it.” Dwight scoffed. “I can’t believe this. Who knows, this might be a cooked story”, he said. “He has proof”, frank said and passed a paper to Dwight. “That is the contract they signed.” Dwight looked at the contract and indeed the seal of the War Pack was there alongside alpha Reid’s signature. ¶¶¶ Ps: Mind link: a way wolves communicate with themselves with their mind.

“Yes, when the person is close and not consciously trying to block me out. I think it may not work for everyone even though I haven’t seen anyone it didn’t work on.” I was dumbfounded at once. Looking at the girl who seemed excitedly to be there, I didn’t know what to think about the weird talent that she had. “We have to leave this place, we didn’t want the Alpha to see us trust me.” I turned around immediately after Irene had spoken as the thought of the previous situation hit my memory again. “I heard the Alpha is very ruthless and would make us do the unthinkable if he should see us,” Irene concluded and started to walk away slowly through the hallway by the right.

But since meeting Louis and his arrogant self, I constantly needed to remind myself not to lash out. I had to remind myself of the exact reason why I accepted this contract in the first place so i couldn’t let myself be distracted this early. I knew for a fact that we had a lot in store for us. The moment we are sworn in as the Alpha and Luna of this pack, all eyes would be on us even more than now. We would have to flawlessly fake the bond and parade ourselves as the sweetest mates out there. How was I supposed to do that when I currently hated his guts and he seemed to hate mine too?

I nodded because I was already fed up with the whole thing. I needed a clean bath, clean clothes, food, and a bed to sleep. I also need to plan my next step. Where to stay? What to do? I had a long way to go and it made my heart heavy and my eyes sting with tears. The Alpha cleared his throat. "Since the apologies are all done, I'm Ryker, the Alpha of the Blue Moon pack, and this is Bradford, my beta and best friend." For a moment, I hesitated. I didn't know if I should reveal my name or not. What if Luca decides to follow me here? I wriggled my partially numbed fingers, "Rowena." I whispered.

I never want anyone to feel like I am forcing them against their will to be a part of my pack. “Alpha, this contract is great; however, there is a clause within the contract that states that if the slave does not wish to go then the offer is off the table. Besides that, they are offer a substantial amount for the slave.” Jason’s advisor is quick, and I respect his ability to review the contract quickly. He hands the documents back to Alpha Jason for him to review.

Alpha’s gaze cut to her. “Yes,” he said. His grin dropping. “How can I be sure?” She asked, her chin held high, no fear whatsoever written across her face. “We’ll sign the contract the same day,” Alpha said. “I would like it if we could sign it today,” she said. “Olivia,” Alpha warned. So that was her name. “I need assurance that you will keep your end of the deal for eternity,” Olivia said. Alpha slammed his fist down on the table and I flinched. Mave gasped and Ava clutched her pearls. Beta Odis turned to face Alpha, he put his hand on the table and Alpha turned to look at him.

“Before you realised how much value I am worth, right? He winced in pain like I was misunderstanding. “Lucy, I…” I brought the contract and held it up for him to see. “Well, you don't need to worry about yourself explaining anymore. I've got great news for you, dear Alpha. This contract which you drafted in your favor? Well, it’s VOID now!” His sprang up in shock. “What are you talking about?”

Third Person's POV Melinda hadn't anticipated Cliff's ruthlessness. She froze, her tears instantly drying up. Veronica ramped up her Alpha aura, freezing the room's air with her disdain. "You can't even hold onto your man? What a waste! How could you, a lowly rogue, ever fathom an Alpha's mind?" she scorned. Melinda's legs buckled, and she collapsed onto the carpet, her knuckles whitening as she clutched her dress.
