The Alpha Contract Neah And Dane Novels & Stories

If the white hair that sprung from not only the top of his head but also his chin was not a tell tale sign of just how old he was, then the hunched back and wobbly steps definitely passed the message across. I knew where this was going, I could already feel his heavy eyes on mine as he allowed me process his words. " Take a seat, you once told me that delicate news should not be delivered on feet" I said, grabbing a spare glass and pouring him a glass of wine. But he did not sit. " I also told you that time is the enemy of every alpha. Why have you not found your mate yet?" There it was. The question of the century. I paused mid pour, reclining into my chair, allowing my eyes to meet his old

By midmorning, messengers began arriving at the pack gates bearing the crests of neighboring territories. Not war banners or crest but peace crests. Rhyden entered the strategy room where Darius and Seraphina stood reviewing patrol adjustments. “My Alpha,” he announced, “three Alphas have arrived at the outer court. They request your audience.” Darius’s expression did not immediately soften. “Names.” “Alpha Theron of the Grey Hollow, Alpha Cassian of River Crest and Alpha Malrik of Stone Ridge.”

I masked my weakness and straightened my spine. "Lord Kyle," I greeted, nodding to the council leader. The powerful elders studied me like prey. "You've done exceptional work, Alpha Cassian," Kyle began, voice booming. "The Supreme Alpha elections are in two days. Your reforms have strengthened the alliance." I forced a smile as they praised my initiatives one by one. But my focus fractured when Adrian's link slammed through again, panic in his every word. "Alpha. We recovered partial footage. You need to see this. Now."

Those eyes that were shining from excitement had turned into a hidden gloom. “I wish the Alpha could have made it. My daughter has always been excited to see him.” Beta Jake took another deep breath, facing towards me. “I am very sorry, Lady Mandy. I wish I could do something.” Gently, I shook my head and smiled just enough to acknowledge his apology. “It’s okay, Beta Jake. No need to apologize. The Alpha is just doing his job for the sake of his pack.” All of a sudden, Beta Jake’s downed spirit had been lifted.

“If there's anything else you want to take with you, now's the time.” Rhea gave it some thought, and then she shook her head. “I have everything here,” she said, raising the small black bag in her hand. **** On the other side of the manor, Alpha Collins was approached by two other alphas who had overheard his conversation with Dante. “Alpha Dante is leaving,” Collins informed, a deep frown still on his forehead. “You know the purpose of this year's summit, right?” Alpha Alpha Kane of the Eclipse Pack said, his eyes in Julian.

he said coolly, seemingly trying to hide his excitement and look at the composed Alpha. "We can't exactly discuss it properly now for obvious reasons," she said, flicking a look at the Alpha male of her pack, who was still very much in wolf form. "We'll call it a temporary verbal contract, one that will expire in a month if you don't contact us to lay out the details with Dante." Looking apprehensively at Dante, the Alpha said, "You'll be there too, right?" She smiled. "Don't worry, I won't let him eat you. Once we're inside, you can take Jake's body." At the Alpha's surprised look, she said, "Despite how disappointing this turned out to be, he deserves a proper burial."

The Alpha beside her already knows the story, and their is no point hiding anything from him. Even if he doesn’t know, he only needs to ask questions to know. Jake and Adira looks away from the blonde’s insane sister to greet the Alpha, their expression flushed nervously. “Good evening, Alpha,” they mumble, heads bowed in respect. “Good evening,” Alpha Dan responds graciously, with no judgement in his tone or expression. Alpha Dan is a man of average height and built, but nonetheless powerful than the other Alphas of the different Packs in the region.

Then, it connected. But no one spoke. Dane held the phone to his ear, tense. The silence on the other end was heavy. He didn’t say a word. Neither did the receiver. Alicia shifted closer, trying to catch any sound. The tension was unbearable; she mistook alpha Dane's silence for stupidity. She gestured for Dane to speak, her irritation bubbling beneath her skin. “This is Alpha Dane of Moonclaw Pack,” he said at last, waiting for a response, but no one talked; it was just a heavy breath from the other end.

His eyes grew in shock and disbelief and I nodded. “Yes, he'll take over.” “Don't brag nonsense yet, she might be a girl and that would be the end of the road.” He spat out and this time, my mum chose to answer that instead “Then, she would be an Alpha. We have three different female Alphas in other packs, they wouldn't hesitate to accept her as one of theirs so It's still good. Do your worst but leave already, you've caused enough damage.” He couldn't say a word, he felt ganged against and he slammed the wall before leaving.

“The sooner you make your peace with this, the easier it will be to adjust.” “But my family is –” “This mating is a political thing, Danielle,” The Alpha says, his voice calm. “You are the only female who fits the requirements.” “But-” “We all have to make sacrifices, Danielle,” Robert’s voice is stern. “You are no longer eighteen-” “I’ve not even had my first shift!” I cry out. “I don’t want to go through that without Mom and Dad!” I can see my father’s hands bunch into fists, but he’s returned to pretending as if he is not part of this conversation.
