The Alpha God's Luna Novels & Stories

"Ah, well that is true. You didn't do something." The voice comes from the woods and just as I try to angle myself to see who it is Tammy steps out. She walks over to me, grinning maliciously at me. "Tammy," I deadpan, only to receive a hard blow across my face, pushing me to the ground. "That is Luna, to you traitor." I look down at my hands and see the blood begins to well out, I reach for my face and it stings to touch. "Luna," I grit out. "What did I not do?" I ask

We became untouchable - invisible even. North Lotus used to be a force to be reckoned. However, none of that mattered now. We were only living off our previous glory and each day was a futile battle to return our pack to what we once were. A few people say that the day North Lotus collapsed was the day her Mum, Luna Dakota Dolphus, became Alpha. That was the day division birthed amongst the pack and it fed off the fact that Mum was a ‘woman’ and a woman couldn’t be Alpha.

My mom, Daphney's parents, and a few relatives sat in what looked like a tiny, depressing conference room in the pack of Zia's. "What are we to say to the council?" a woman named Elder Marbel finally asked after a few torturous moments of silence. "Honestly, I suppose," the Luna replied. She looked like she hadn't slept in days. "Luna, you know Aiden can't do that. We're barely holding him steady in the Alpha position as it is," she snapped, making Aiden's eyes flash with annoyance. *Holding him steady?* What does that even mean? Isn't he already the Alpha?

Hunter tilts his head, challenging me. I know he’s waiting for me to take the bait. If I agree, he’ll ask why I don’t become the luna, and if I disagree, he will feign offense and make some ridiculous demand to push me in that direction. I have no intention on falling for his trap. “I simply mean the moon goddess knows better than we. Wouldn’t you agree?” It’s always been a hot topic of discussion, but according to lore, Hunter is a beta because of the moon goddess’s blessing.

Like it or not, it's my duty now to guide them too, the way elder wolves once did. “Let’s just say it happened at the dawn of our time,” I explain, setting my mug down. “Megetsune represents absolute destruction. The Alpha King, on the other hand, is creation itself. And then came the Moon Goddess—born of celestial power neither of them had ever encountered. Megetsune sought to devour her. The Alpha King, according to legend, made her his mate.” “She became the first Blessed Luna. Together, the three of them sealed Megetsune away.”

Goddess, she was beautiful. “What about the Alpha and Luna?” Diego asked. Elle and I exchanged a look. I had no idea about the Luna, but we already figured out what needed to happen to the Alpha. “Alpha Andrew has information about where I’m from that he’ll only offer up if I allow him to live, according to the Goddess, but still with being exiled and his title stripped. Luna, however, is just as sadistic as her son. She’s known for many things, but one of them being infanticide on two separate occasions and the encouragement of what the warriors did to my people. By encouragement I mean holding them down while her warriors did whatever they wanted or even drugging the men, women, and teens.

Finally after a swift drumming routine , the Luna comes in, she looks tense, but she was beautiful, the Alpha meets her half way and takes her hand as per the rites, she hesitated at first and it confused me but I sense it, a pup in her womb, the Alpha is unaware of this but this Luna knows. She finally accepted her mate hand and they walk up to me, I finally get a good view of her, I see through her soul and the moon goddess opens my eyes, I see her life, her suffering, the death surrounding her, her father's madness only he was not mad, he had been plagued, this is a forbidden magic of old.

I knelt and proclaimed, “Great Alpha, I bring you good news.” “Speak,” the Alpha commanded. “I know who the true Luna is. She was once my father’s concubine, but now she stands as a Luna. She is the key you seek.” “Why do you bring this news, and what do you offer?” the Alpha queried. “I seek to be second in command of your army when I deliver her to you. I want your witch to empower me greatly, to become feared and unknown.” “The witch by my side makes us unstoppable.” “You wish to deliver the Luna?” the Alpha asked again.
