Before anything else can be said the door opens and we are ushered out into the blinding light. The arena looks more like the colosseum, in Rome, than anything modern. The ground was covered in hay and sawdust, mixed with mud, blood, sweat, and quite likely a few tears. It smelled kinda like what I think the Themes may have smelled like back in the late 19th century to mid-20th century... b
