But what is even more fascinating with us most readers is the way we would hate the lead guy for being toxic and shitty, yet we would deliberately fall for someone who is more naturally toxic and shittier, hence, being what makes him the bad guy. But I have discovered something from a passage I read online, I cannot remember when or where it was, but it stated the reason why readers often fall for the bad guys. It is easier to fall for someone who is imperfect and sees you for who you are. Someone who would not sugarcoat things and would not have a reason to lie. Narratives change and stories most times lose their facts from being retold so many times within these walls that I don't even bother with them, so yeah, no surprise there at all. "I'm serious....."
