The men around him scanned their surroundings, but the one speaking respectfully kept his gaze on the king's chest as he retold the events.
"One of ours?" The king clarified, but the man shook his head.

"No, smelled off. Might have been a different pack or something else entirely, but he didn't seem like a threat," He said, shrugging. Clearly, he didn't have much experience with bears not to have recognized my scent, but his beast would have reacted or recognized my scent and told him to be cautious of me, just as mine told me the same of him.
