The Betrayed Warrior Luna's Second Chance Novels & Stories

Our enemies fought with a ferocity and coordination that I had never seen before, and no matter how hard we fought, they seemed to gain the upper hand. As the casualties mounted and exhaustion threatened to overwhelm us, a realization struck me like a bolt of lightning. Luna had betrayed us, she had led us into a trap, playing on our fears and vulnerabilities to weaken us from within. With a sinking feeling in my heart, I knew that we had been outmaneuvered and that the true battle was only just beginning. But with the strength and unity of our pack behind us, I was determined to fight on, no matter the odds. With a sinking feeling in my heart, I knew that we had been outmaneuvered, and that

Before the boss could answer one of the younger tournament masters stepped forward to answer. “We would do no such thing, Alpha,” he said, “Not one of us wanted our Luna to be hurt.” “Then how do you explain what’s currently happening?!” I said almost shouting now. “Alpha,” the withered old man reached his hand out as he touched my arm while looking at me with his glazed eyes that were filled with guilt and regret. “We would never betray our Alpha let alone our Luna who was the daughter of the Alpha and Luna who sacrificed so much for their people. We don’t really know what’s happening right now but the arena that the Luna is currently on was not made by us, which is why we can’t enter it.”

Without saying anything, I turned and walked toward the exit while Maya silently followed behind me. Neither of us spoke. What words could possibly fix this? The cool night air touched my face once we stepped outside. But nothing helped. Nothing could ease the pain inside me. Slowly, my fingers moved toward the silver necklace around my neck. Kael gave it to me the day I officially became Luna of Blackthorn Pack. I still remembered that day clearly. “You are mine forever,” he told me while placing it around my neck. “You are my Luna. My only choice.” I believed him like an idiot, I believed every word. I stared at the necklace for a long moment. Then without hesitation, I ripped it off my ne

Silver Moon warriors sat close beside Rowan's people, trading exaggerated accounts of the battle already growing taller with every retelling, and somewhere near the largest bonfire, Finn — the young Thornwood wolf who had betrayed them all under threat to his sister — sat quietly at the fire's edge, watching the celebration with a complicated, grateful expression, his earlier shame slowly, visibly softening into something like cautious belonging. Luna accepted a cup of something warm and spiced from an elderly Ashwood healer, murmured her thanks, and found a quiet moment to simply stand at the edge of the largest fire, watching the unlikely coalition she'd helped build celebrate a victory th

He left the party hall, leaving Greta alone with me. “Luna, why are you doing this? I thought we had an agreement not to disclose what happened today?” Greta asked, and she was full of tears when Luna began badmouthing her for being a mistress and for betraying her friend. “Did you think I’m a fool? If I were you, I would do anything to push Alpha Terrence to marry you.” I didn’t answer her question, and I turned my back on her. A smirk plastered on my lips when I entered my room.

I had been the only one to get that smile. I shook my head softly. The priest approached her and placed his hand on her forehead. And then, grinning, spoke the exact words that, in a way I never imagined, shattered me; "Vivian Quinn, you are now Alpha Alexander's new wife and Luna of the wildfire Pack." May the moon goddess protect you. As everyone in the pack bowed their heads before Vivian, the new Luna of the pack, my wolf let out a painful scream. I shuddered. For me, it was all over. Alexander Took a fresh Luna. He had deceived me! How could my child, my lovely baby, fare?

"But mate bonds are built on blood, loyalty, and duty. How long do you think that bond holds when he sees you as cold, jealous, and cruel to your broken twin sister? How long before his wolf grows tired of your pride... and reaches for the sister who actually needs him?" "I will throw you out of these gates myself," I growled, my Warden light flaring faintly around my fingers, scorching the fabric of her collar. "Go ahead," Clara whispered, her smile turning triumphant. "Throw me out. Tell Asher I'm a fake. Tell him I walked down the hall. Tell him I spoke to you like a villain." She leaned in close to my ear, her breath warm and mocking. "Who do you think he'll believe, Livia? His noble, st

Loneliness got to me a bit; she had warmed my bed one time, a long time ago. Still, it never was my intention to have her as my Luna even though she takes those attributes upon herself, the staff that works in the pack-house had kept me updated on her behavior, plus I have cameras installed in all gathering areas. I tolerate her around because Bryant is like a brother, the same as Leno and Geo, my Gamma. Bryant knows what happened between us and has made it a point that I will not take her as a Luna if there’s still a chance I can meet my fate. And today, Carolina seems to have made the worst mistake of her life. I am holding onto her forearms, keeping them at bay, not wanting her anywhere n

“You can’t do that.” I smirked, but it held no humor. “I just did.” Her fists clenched, her entire body vibrating with restrained fury. “You’re punishing me.” I turned fully toward her, my voice low and dangerous. “You don’t deserve to train with my warriors. You don’t deserve to be trusted. You want to be marked? You want to be Luna?” I leaned in close, my voice dropping to a whisper for only her ears. “Lunas don’t betray their mates.” It was cruel, so cruel. I knew it was.
