The Betrayed Warrior Luna's Second Chance Novels & Stories

And then, beneath the full moon and before the entire pack, he chose someone else last week. Liora, my best friend. Or at least she was. She was now his Luna, my replacement. The betrayal was public, the shame, unbearable. And now, I had to stand among those same wolves, and smile as they celebrated their love, because I was the Beta, and duty demanded it. I tossed the phone away, I don't even want to hold it and see more news. Everyone thinks I'm pathetic. I quickly wiped the tears off my cheeks. “You can do this. Just in… and out,” I whispered to myself, forcing my shoulders to straighten.

I followed behind him, amazed at his display of skill, and worried again that I failed to feel the presence of my wolf when I needed it earlier. It was getting dark, the sun going back to it's place. The stakes were getting higher as the battle in the palace continued. I moved around, healing our warriors as they fell to the ground. After a long while, the attack seemed to be subdued, as the rogues retreated, running out of the pack house and chased out of the pack. Zane ordered for a council meeting that same night and I was present as the healer and the rumoured Luna to be of the pack.

Christopher replied with his front facing the window to view outside and his hands behind his back. They missed their innocent Luna but no amount of emotions can be compared to immortality.

They were carrying strange weapons that weren't swords. Once inside the lights were blinding. I slowly opened my eyes to see my mate sitting on my father's throne. I felt my blood boil at the sight. He wasn't looking at me but I knew he felt my presence. The mate bond between Alpha and Luna is very strong. The people around were very curious some even excited to see me punished. I could see many familiar faces around me as well. Many were traitors to my father. I shouldn't hold it against them though. They did what they had to survive.

I step back from her and she laughs reluctantly. “What I can say is I was betrayed by who I thought was my friend. She slept with my fiancé and made me leave my home. What do you think I should do to her?” I ask innocently. If I wasn’t watching her closely, I would have missed the draining of color from her face. “Betrayers should be…dealt with, don’t you think? If you betrayed somebody, I’ll advice you watch your back. Watch your back Liana, there’s a ghost behind you.” Liana squeaks and turns around like she’s expecting something to come out from the shadows. “I’m kidding again! Can’t you take a joke Luna? Or did you actually betray someone?” I ask innocently.

I was done with being half of myself. I was a white wolf who just found her people, I might as well start acting like one… If it’s not too late. “It’s never too late, Child.” Mia Lu assured me, reading my thoughts again. But I didn’t mind. After all, I couldn’t take Hazel’s betrayal off my mind. Considering the number of people who have betrayed me, starting with Raiden, I should be called the Betrayed Luna.

Beta Burns paused for a while and ordered the warriors to take me to the inner chambers of the pack cells. “You'll wish I killed you, Luna Averie.” I turned towards Dramon as I was dragged away. “No one makes a deal with the devil and survives it. You will regret betraying your pack, your own family.” “I won't, there's so much to gain from this side of the fence. Maybe if you join us things will work better for you.” My heart burned in betrayal. Rage seeped through my veins and I know that if I don't calm down, more deaths than I anticipated will o

"You're talking about my mate. My Luna. And I've already killed two people today. What's one more?" "Brave words from someone who can barely stand." Gina raised her hand. "Kill them. Kill them all." The compelled wolves charged. And the real battle began. The arena erupts into chaos. What would you like to see happen next? The full battle scene? A specific confrontation between Thelma and Gina? Xavier pushing past his limits? Let me know which elements you'd like me to develop!

And their reward was torture and death. "The ritual is tomorrow at the time of the lunar eclipse," Darius said, studying Kai's sleeping figure. "Twin Luna blood will bring to life powers that have been dormant in Luna bloodlines since the first werewolves walked this earth. Time manipulation, warping of reality and the power to change fate itself." "Don't forget the best part," Elena laughed, scooping up sleeping Mira from her bassinet like she owned her. "I gave birth to your real heir two weeks ago. My Logan will be inheriting everything when we sacrifice these little mistakes."

In a swift, fluid motion, the figure struck Luna square in the chest with a golden lance, the very weapon wielded by Zadkiel. Luna staggered back, a gout of blood spilling from her lips. She wiped the crimson stain away with the back of her hand, her eyes narrowing as she locked gazes with the mysterious figure. Realization dawned on her face, a mix of betrayal and fury. "You," she hissed, her voice laced with venom. "Hah! Never thought I was being played all along."
