The Billion Dollar Marriage Contract Pdf Novels & Stories

“The envelope contains a document…a contract marriage dpcument precisely.” “What?!” I exclaimed, pulling the document out. “Yes, it states there that this marriage would only be for six months after which we'll get a divorce and go our separate ways. And nobody must know about this, not even your parent. I'm getting married for a reason, not because I want to. I'm not interested in commitment. I'll be clearing all your parent's bill, and give you two million dollars once we get a divorce.” Everything this handsome bastard just said was written boldly in the one piece document.

I repeated, “Henry, you have nothing to do with my company. It was my hard work, my sweat, blood and tears that built it….” Henry interrupted in a sharp tone, “And my investments that kept it afloat,” he said, his eyes shining with malice. “Don’t forget that, Maddie. Without me, you wouldn’t have been able to keep it running those first few years. Legally, I have as much claim to it as you do.” My lawyer shifted in her seat, clearing her throat. “Technically, he’s not wrong, Maddie.” She sounded professional, her voice lacking emotions. “As part of the divorce settlement, the company’s shares….”

He handed me a brown file, earning a confused glare from me. When I opened it, words in big bold letters stared back at me. CONTRACT MARRIAGE AGREEMENT. I gulped down the stale liquid that had formed in my throat. This was it. The last nail on the lid of my coffin. I was supposed to be happy. Relieved. But the feeling of dread gnawed at me, and I couldn't help but feel that I was signing my death warrant. His eyes sparked as he watched my inner turmoil. “Five years of staying married, and after that, I can go my own way? With compensation of one million dollars?” I read.

The contract marriage was set to last one year—on paper, a strategic partnership, but in reality, a power move that would force Jamie to take me seriously. I dropped the paper, back on the desk and I looked at him “you added a clause” He smirked, “of course I did”. I used my fingers to move it closer to him and tapped the section that read: In the event of betrayal or failure to uphold agreed-upon terms, the contract will be nullified, and financial reparations of five billion dollars must be made to Johnny Harrington. I scoffed. “Five billion?, I offered two billion. You think highly of yourself”

She holds up a stack of papers, the weight of them heavy with implication. I shake my head in denial. “No... this is Elijah’s weird idea of a joke.” “Sweetie, this is Elijah’s idea of a proposal.” She locks eyes with me, her expression serious. “He’s offering you a contract marriage.” “Let me see this.” I reach out to grab the papers, my hands trembling slightly as I begin to read. “‘No infidelity, no drug use, approval of all my interactions with the media.’” I look up at Leslie, bewildered. “I... I don’t get this. I’ve known this guy for two days.”

Chloe had her head down, feeling embarrassed. "What kind of deal, Chloe?" Brianna couldn't imagine what her friend was about to tell her next. "He wants to marry me. It would be a one year contract marriage." "Oh, f**k! And in exchange?" "One million dollars." Chloe simply said, looking at her friend. Brianna widened her eyes even more, as if it was possible. Her mouth was half-open in surprise. "Insane!" that was the only word that came out of Brianna's mouth.

"No.. No it's fine." She recollected herself. Although he had said he'd settle her, money had not been the primary reason for accepting. She wasn't also expecting the sum to be this much. He was remitting 100 million dollars as if it was nothing, offering even double. Are all billionaires this extravagant? She wondered. She decided to go through the rest of the details. It was indeed a detailed one. A part of the contract states that, she is free to walk away from the marriage whenever she wants, if he breaks any of his vows to her. She signed the contract and returned it. He smiled. "You have a curious history. How long have you been a wedding planner?"

he declared. “I want you to get married to me on a contract based for just two years and in return, you get a 100 million dollars, a car of your choice and one of my villas after the expiration of the contract,” he said with steeze, each of his words carefully chosen and calculated. He motioned to one of his men, who handed him an envelope. He grabbed my hand, forcing the envelope in it. “In here is the contract. Go through it and append your signature. We’ll be getting married in two days,” he spoke authoritatively.

How else could I explain a billionaire randomly asking me to be his wife the very night before I lost my job? Even if it felt wrong, even if I was unsure, I wasn’t backing down. This was my way out. Lisa didn’t look convinced by my answer, but I wasn’t going to let her push me further into doubt. I gently opened the leather document carrier and pulled out the contents. It was a ten-page pre-contract non-disclosure agreement, with a bold title on the front page: Preliminary Marriage Agreement. Am I going into a contract marriage? The words echoed in my head. It was something I never imagined, let alone looked forward to.

“Here is the contract, go through it and sign it. I already booked a slot for us with the registrar and he is waiting for us.” I opened the file and read through the two-page document. I read out the seven rules. “You must not be involved with any man till the end of the contract. No one must know it's a contract marriage. There will be no intimacy between us. You will not meddle in my personal affairs. You must be ready to follow me whenever I ask you to. There will be no divorce until the end of the 2-year contract. You will receive 2 million dollars after the marriage certificate has been issued, 3 million dollars after a year, and receive the balance of 5 million dollars at the end of ou
