Pain flared across his knuckles, but it was nothing compared to the storm inside. He pressed his forehead to the cool wood paneling, eyes closed, breathing hard. “Get it together,” he muttered to himself. “She’s not yours. Not anymore. She never really was.” Outside the study, Calla walked down the corridor. Servants scattered out of her path, eyes wide with awe and curiosity.

Alejandro said as though he was having a normal conversation causing Blade's eyes to widen. Slaughter walked towards Blade, and before Blade could fathom what Slaughter was about to do, he found his thumb in Slaughter's hands, throwing it up and down as though it was some kid's toy. "Argh!!!!" Blade yelped in pain as his blood poured on the floor. His eyes closed as he couldn't stand the sight of his own blood or his thumb in Slaughter's hands looking like some toy. "He is not sharper than my blades," Slaughter confirmed and bowed on the floor before walking out with wishes that he would get called again.

Before Rio could deal with a deathly blow he saw the reality around him was breaking apart when he saw his right hand was obliterated out of existence. He looked back to see one of the blades exploding in a flash of violent yet beautiful light as the blade was released from its seals, it destroyed everything in its wake wiping what was left of the crystal chamber from existence.
