The Blind Leading The Blind Kjv Novels & Stories

Aside from that, there's no harm in trying. I took out my phone and opened the bible app that came with it, and to my amazement, Mister Handsome was correct. "Proverbs 4:25 says, 'Let your eyes be straight ahead; fix your gaze directly ahead of you.'" The bible chapters from Proverbs were exalted. I suddenly recall something, and things start to make sense to my ear. "Wait! "I thought it was a romantic way of saying sorry?" I asked. "Well. As you can see, the Bible is chock-full of surprises." Mister handsome remarked, smiling.

I stammered. “Praise the Lord,” he shouted again, with a small smile appearing on his face. “Hallelujah,” they chorused again. “Brethren, this is the final stage for his prosper and victory tonight. In the book of Ephesians 6:12, we are told that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places…amen.” “Amen,” the people below chanted in unison.

Dorothy stands before the electronic keypad, she places her hand over it and begins to chant: “Follow where the blind are leading, listen where the mutes are keening, take the road that splits asunder, nor left nor right, but travel under, where oneself meets the other, one from two and strange combining, with the other intertwining. Ceiling to floor, I command thee to open the door.”

"You loved the wrong woman. She is married, that law is in the bible. Sixth commandment, adultery." Blake looked at Dark. "Don't question Boss G. It is in the Bible, because he said to live your life to the fullest, but that does not mean that you will do whatever you want that is not pleasing to His will."

He took out his bible and read a passage there. "Psalm 82:1-5: 1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 'How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.' 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken."

Finally, I stop, my chest heaving, my arms hanging heavy at my sides. "You are trying to see me," the blind man says. "That is your mistake. Your eyes are lying to you. They show you where I was, not where I am going." He taps his stick against the floor. "Close your eyes." "What?" "Close your eyes. You cannot fight what you cannot see. So stop trying to see." I look at Mark. He nods once. I close my eyes. The darkness is immediate and complete. Without sight, like the world shrinks to the sounds around me. My own breathing, and drip of water somewhere in the distance. The soft tap of the blind man's stick against the stone floor.

A painting hangs beside his desk. I don’t know why it draws me in, but I find myself walking closer. Thick strokes of midnight blue and charcoal gray layer the canvas. In the center — barely visible unless you truly look — a thin streak of gold cuts through the darkness. Not bright. Not loud. Just there. A quiet fracture of light. It isn’t something you glance at. It’s something you feel. My fingers almost lift to touch the textured paint. Why would a blind man choose something so visual?

Seraphine translated the faded text aloud. "When sight awakens beneath divided moons..." Her voice echoed softly. "The forgotten path shall open once more." "Blood shall remember." "The blind shall fear." "Kings shall kneel." "The one who sees shall decide what remains." Silence. The words lingered heavily in the chamber. Poetry. Ancient poetry. Normally I would've dismissed it. Today... No one laughed. "What does it mean?" "No one knows," Seraphine admitted. "But The Veil believes they do."

I remove his hands from me, eager to wash his touch off me as soon as possible. “Of course I know. I was blind, not stupid. And the fact that you thought you could get away with anything as long as your wife was blind and trusted you even more blindly makes me hate you even more.” I look at him with disgust. “It makes me sick.”

“Because vision is a distraction. After not having it for so long, it’s loud in its existence. Being blind, I had to focus on all of my other senses, including internally to survive. She’s saying it’s going to be harder to focus like that with having my eye sight back.” Levantus is still a little confused, but has a small idea of what Odessa and Rowena are saying. “I’m sorry, I’ve never been blind, so I have no idea what it’s like. Or what it really means to focus internally. For me, eye sight is essential. Though, it’s part of what makes me feel that she’s the strongest woman I know. Being able to do the things you have while blind… it’s incredible.” Odessa blushed while Rowena nods her hea
