My bоdу wаѕ nоw lеаnіng against the wаll tо mаіntаіn ѕоmе kіnd оf uрrіght роѕіtіоn. “Yeah, I don’t thіnk еvеn you аrе blіnd еnоugh tо ѕее I’m аlrеаdу hammered аnd саn bаrеlу walk. After thе nіght from hеll ѕаt there fееlіng like a ѕраrе whееl, or lеft talking to thе guy whо flirts wіth me rеlіgіоuѕlу. Yоu knоw I’m not in that рlасе уеt, but you still сhоѕе tо take іt uроn уоurѕеlf tо рuѕh mе іntо іt before I wаѕ even ready.”

His heartbeat thundered in his chest, the darkness closing in like a suffocating weight. Then, suddenly, a bright light began to glow in the distance, piercing the blackness. It grew steadily, illuminating the void around him. Luca’s mind raced back to the priest’s warning: When you see her light, bow down. Without a second thought, Luca fell to his knees, his head bowed low. The light was blinding, almost too bright to endure, but he kept his gaze down, refusing to look directly at it. The priest’s words echoed in his mind, reminding him of the importance of respect, of reverence.

I think our way means more and is way more straightforward, but I want to show my mate that I value her ways too. Deacon led Eve to the top of the aisle, looking at me for direction, and with a deep sigh to steady myself, I gave the nod, hoping like hell that I'd read this situation correctly, I dipped my head, and he removed Eve's blindfold. The gasp from her lips said it all. 2. "Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry," Eve told herself firmly as she stared at the beauty around her.

** Miranda and Hussein moved slowly toward Amal's room, their steps hesitant, as if the walls themselves were closing in on them. The priest still stood beside Sophia's still body, his eyes burning as his lips whispered a dark, muffled hymn: "But when someone stronger than him attacks and overcomes him, he takes the shield the man trusted and divides the spoils..." (Luke 11:22). Then he suddenly raised his head, his voice rising as if echoing from a pit of darkness: "Go in peace... or die in silence. You have no place in the bodies of the pure. We are the children of the Lord, the faithful, the redeemed." Return to your world... or perish in ours.

Serena’s POV The voices reached us before the doors did, sharp and certain, each word thrown like a stone. “…a Luna who cannot shift is no Luna at all.” “…he is blind with desire. He endangers us all.” “…the Goddess will judge him.” Kael didn’t pause. His hand clamped around mine, solid, unyielding, his pace steady even as the noise thickened. The doors swung open beneath his push, crashing against the walls.

Whispers drift through the air, carrying warnings of unseen dangers lurking in the shadows. Levi takes point, his blade at the ready as we navigate through the eerie forest. Adrian's keen senses alert us to hidden threats, while Blake's magic provides a shield against malevolent forces that seek to ensnare us. My own Sight Beyond Sight allows me to glimpse fleeting visions of what lays ahead, guiding us through the labyrinthine paths with uncanny precision.

Me and Jericho rely on our instincts, trusting our bond to guide us through the labyrinth's treacherous twists and turns. Suddenly, we stumble upon a fork in the winding path. Two corridors stretch out before us, both equally daunting in their own right. My heart skips a beat as I realize that this choice will determine our fate. Jericho gazes at me with unwavering support. "We'll find a way through," he says softly, his voice echoing off the cold stone walls. "Together." Steel determination fills my gaze as I make up my mind. "Let's choose the path of darkness," I say, my voice steady. "For it is in darkness that we shall find the light."

“i..i…am sorry for eavesdropping, I swear I simply got lost in the hallway…” “tsk tsk tsk of course you will be get lost...stupid, you are blind!...blind people get lost all the time, no big deal…but out of all places to be you had to be right here in front of the royal office…right, Like a bitch on heat.” The venomous girl kept drawing close to the blind one as she threw out verbal missiles upon missiles of insults as if making sure to smear it all over the pitiful girl. “No…no…it’s, it’s not true…not true” Hannah stuttered as she stepped backwards.

Chapter 16 The room plunged into a profound silence as Satana's voice echoed through its walls. All eyes turned towards him, their gazes fixed on his imposing figure. The air was heavy with anticipation, each breath hanging in the stillness, as Satana prepared to address the concerns raised. "I understand your concerns," Satana began, his voice low and resonant, commanding attention. "But a true leader needs more than just his own strength. He requires a mate who stands beside him, offering support and guidance."

he said to me with his gaze filled with worry. "Yes, I will, I promise," I rushed out as I scanned the menu I knew all too well. "Okay, fine. The food should be ready soon," he informed me as he looked around the place. I wonder what he could see. I mean, obviously he could see auras now but did that mean that he could see faint objects or outlines of things? What would it be like if one was blind? What if I was blind? “What is it like being blind?" The words tumbled out of my mouth without permission and I quickly slapped a hand around my mouth while feeling guilty for even saying it.
