Violet's pov The rage I felt in the past few days was channeled to my new hobby--- tending the garden. The garden became my healing spot and Mama's cottage, my safe space. The flowers in the garden looked so appealing that I'm sometimes afraid to touch them because I'm afraid to scar or bruise them. They are so delicate they remind me of myself.

“She can only rest after pulling out every weed in the entire field!” Violet dropped to the floor while coughing and trembling uncontrollably. “Understood,” George replied, and his eyes were filled with pity. It was an extremely large garden, and it would take ages to remove all the weeds. Violet was once again back under the sun. The garden was so large that it was impossible to see the end of it at one glance. Walking all the way to the end would take a long time, let alone pulling weeds.
