The Book Six Novels & Stories

All my hope for the future was shattered. I had loved Milo for six years. He had me at hello, and I chased him for three years until he finally said yes. The night he proposed, I was over the moon, convinced he'd fallen for me and was ready to build a life together. But that same night, heading to his study to discuss wedding plans, I overheard him on the phone. His friend sounded confused. "You're not marrying Elaine just because Jessica left the country, right? That's a gamble. How will you explain this to her when Jessica comes back? Elaine chased you for three years, and you proposed. Good luck shaking her off."

*MIKAYLA’S POV* “Come on, Mika. Just come to this party with me!” June begged, pulling on my sleeve. Lying on my bed, I was inside my room reading a new book that I borrowed from Alpha Heron’s library. I was hoping to finish it before he came home. The book was about the were-kingdom, containing information about all the various types of shifters. I thought that this particular book should not have been touched, so basically, I was stealing a read.

Instead, I would be grounded for a month rather than get nightmares for a year. There was dust on it. The particles made me cough as I blew to brush it off, only to inhale. I read the title as if it was in an ancient language. "Amihan," I whisper in the ancient tongue, pronouncing the word. It wasn't hard. Nay taught me a few letters of the ancient language, so reading the title of this book came in handy. Now here comes the fun part. I open the book to the first page and read the passage.

It was bittersweet. I sat in the dining room for a little while, picking at the fruit, flipping another page. After a while, I slipped outside. The air was warm, but not too hot. I curled up on one of the lounge chairs under the shade, pulling my knees to my chest, the book still open in my lap. My eyes were tired, but I couldn’t stop. Page after page. I didn’t even realize how deep I’d fallen in until I caught something strange. There was a different page, near the back. Another handwritten note. Six’s handwriting. I lightly traced the pattern like I could touch him.

Seb sighs "Honestly fuck this we kill Mahdia, James, and Jamal I know he's your brother and all but he gotta go boo," she says getting annoyed with all this "It's not that easy princess...Sebastian contacted Xavier Ivanov, Blake Martinez, and Alex Costa" He shoots his head up at me "I'm sorry you know those people" he states with disbelief "I own them" I shrug leaning back "Who are they" Zuri frowns looking at both of us "In this world of billionaires, you know we have the drug dealers, arms dealer is we have a hierarchy right so Blake is fourth, Xavier is third and Alex is second"
