WITHOUT WARNING: Book 2 Of The Redemption Series

WITHOUT WARNING: Book 2 Of The Redemption Series

Let’s go. She grabbed her keys, slipped on her shoes, and headed out to her car. Destination: P.F. Chang’s, Oakbrook. Where Knox was waiting. Knox’s POV I sat at the table near the window, hands clasped loosely in front of me as I waited for Sienna to show up. The waitress had already checked on me four times in twelve minutes. I told her I was fine and just waiting on someone, but she gave me her number again anyway, the second time now. This time, I just took it so she’d leave me alone. She giggled on her way back like we were in on something together. Whatever.

Wait for Me in the Alley

Wait for Me in the Alley

"I said one year. I'm four years late. Are you still waiting?" I didn't answer. I rose on my toes and kissed his scar. He froze for a second. Then he wrapped his coat around me, pulling me in tight, his chin settling back on top of my head. "Yes," I said. "I'll always wait."

When I Stopped Waiting

When I Stopped Waiting

There were only two seats left at the company dinner. One was in the corner, and the other was beside my secret boyfriend of three years, Julian Locke. I had barely taken a step forward when Julian called out to my best friend, Capri Leigh. "Capri, sit here." My coworkers immediately squealed with excitement. The group chat went wild too. "They look so good together. Just seeing them sitting next to each other is a treat!" "Has Mr. Locke ever asked someone to sit with him before?" "I bet he's got a thing for Capri. I don't care. I'm shipping them anyway!" Throughout the dinner, Julian avoided even looking at me to keep people from getting suspicious. Even when a server burned my ha

I Swear, Let Me Love You Again

I Swear, Let Me Love You Again

3RD POV: It was Friday, the release of Lydia's book. The books were in all the stores, and there were a bunch of people waiting outside of the different branches in all the Miller restaurants in the cool breeze of the morning waiting patiently for the doors to be opened in order to purchase a copy or more. The media had just arrived at 7 a.m and were baffled by the amount of people present, they instantly began to record and interview a few bystanders. "I am so excited to read the book! I want to know everything Lydia Miller has been through and everything Mrs King has done to her. That's why I am up early to purchase a copy." A female who looked to be in her late teens and early twenties sa

and informed her that I was eagerly awaiting her arrival. Taking a seat at an empty table, I observed the bustling cafe. A waitress approached, inquiring if I desired anything in particular. Politely declining, I informed her that I was simply waiting for someone. Time seemed to stretch on as I anxiously awaited Rachel's arrival, my impulsive nature growing restless. I couldn't help but wonder why women always seemed to keep others waiting.

The Devil's Plaything

The Devil's Plaything

The book was published in March, on a morning that was cold and grey in the way March mornings were. Serena stood in her study and didn't know what to do with her hands. It was not a small, quiet book. There was no possibility of it being small or quiet — not with what was in it, not with the years that sat behind it. It arrived the way things arrived when they were long overdue. With a weight that people recognised before they could explain why. As though they had been waiting for something without knowing they were waiting, and here it finally was.

For Those Who Wait

For Those Who Wait

As soon as the busy tone came from the other end, his face instantly went pale. "Sir, this is an invalid number," he stuttered, cold sweat rolling down his forehead. What kind of wedding would this be if the bride went missing?! "This can't be happening!" Bruno's brows furrowed; he snatched the phone from his assistant and checked it himself. Sure enough, the screen clearly read, "This number is not in service. Please check the number and dial again." By now, guests were already arriving at the venue one after another. They consisted of well-regarded individuals from various industries. If Aelia dared to throw a tantrum or cause a scene at this critical juncture, Bruno would never forgive he

YOU WAITED

Before I can say anything, I notice him stop in his tracks and turn his head to look towards me. Not wasting any time , I place my book right on the couch, careful not to miss my place and rise to my feet, I start towards him and hold my breath, hoping he won't just pass me by. I almost sigh out loud in relief when he doesn't and remains where he is.

Be prepared for different levels of emotion. Interesting storyline that will have you crying at times. There’s also some humor. However, the book has grammatical errors that needs to be edited. Love the ending - very different, but good.

I really loved this story. so many twists, it was confusing especially when Keith asked for a divorce he didn't really want because he loved her so much and rescued her. It had a very happy ending. So worth reading.

The Second Time's a Charmer

The Second Time's a Charmer

the woman nodded before fixing her glasses, “Yes! That young handsome man asked me a moment ago before I got here, he was looking for the same book as well. He said that it was for his cousin.” Valencia wanted to scream all of her frustration simmering in her chest after wasting her time walking around in the maze-like store looking for the Non-fiction section only to know that a particular someone took it. “Ah, that’s too bad.” She replied dryly, standing motionless like a lifeless mannequin “Don’t worry dear, the store will have another batch of those books again.” Valencia’s dim and lifeless pair were now glimmering with hope, “You just have to wait for 3 months for the re-stock.” She bec
