The Book Was Better Novels & Stories

Haha. Thank you soooooooo much. The book was on the flash drive, of course. It was obviously the work of a well-read amateur, but Byron had to admit it wasn't half bad. With some edits and a bit of feedback, he could imagine it sitting in the same bookstores as his own, though on a very different shelf.

What a journey this has been, no? Looking back from the time this book started to now, I'm like “Wow, these readers have a lot of patience.” I know it mustn't have been easy sticking with this book, especially with my inconsistent update schedule, and so I want to say a very big thank you to you that you made it to this point. Even if this book isn't your favourite book, I hope you enjoyed it. Now I would like to ask; What did you enjoy about this book? What didn't you enjoy about it? How could I have made it better?

Both were really awkward at each other at first but when they found out that both were reading the same book, they eventually got a comfortable to talk at each other. “So, you also read that book-” “Yeah, I got into it after a friend of mine recommended it to me.” “Isn’t it a great book.” “Yeah, I got hooked on it after reading the first chapter.” “bla-bla-bla” Both continued to talked to each other and enjoyed their conversation. “I was feeling an awkward atmosphere growing between our table so I was gonna try to start a conversation but when you brought out your book, I was just surprised to see a person reading it.” The girl said.

Can somebody explain how one book can put someone off other books that are completely different ? Usually the majority of comments on this book are positive, however in the last few chapters I've seen hardly any comments actually saying nice things. And for everyone that said nice things thank you so much and I love you for it. I get that people may not be happy, but some things need to be said and some things don't.

Kathrena and I could fill him in, anyway. And I couldn’t deny that the book was interesting, despite the fact that most of it had gone straight over my head. It spoke of the supernatural in a way that made it seem brilliant, and beautiful, and it was a viewpoint I’d never considered before. I’d seen it – and myself – as dark and mysterious, a slimy underbelly that permeated all that was light and good in the world. But the witch made it seem like magic, and, to her, I supposed that it was.

Well I am obsess, I was supposed to think but hey one book wouldn’t take all my time right? “Fine, one book and think about your situation” “Okay tala, thanks!” I found a good book to read, the cover was faded and the front page is teared, upon opening the book it was already at page three. It was weird but I read it anyway. It was full of interesting stories and now I realized it is not a story book or a novel, it is about different kinds of beings. It was amazing how many beings there are, now I wonder if Lucas have met all of them for me. I smile at that thought

“I received it yesterday afternoon, I couldn't wait to start reading it and so far I have not been disappointed.” “But… I was very disappointed in the last novel you recommended.” I tucked a lock of my hair behind my ear and tried to remember everything I liked about the penultimate story I read. “Why? You have to give me a good argument.” Isaac snorted. “The protagonist was terribly wrong, she should never have chosen the new boy. It just doesn't make sense, she should have stayed with her best friend. He did love her in a sincere way.” I frowned. “What are you talking about? The new boy loved her too,” I explained, holding up a hand.

I asked with wonder when I was finally clear headed enough to speak again. “I told you that’s where you were going,” Joshua said with surprise. “That place we left was so bad,” I began. “It may not look pretty, but it serves a good purpose for a lot of people,” Joshua said, firmly. “Sometimes it’s best not to judge a book by its cover.” I put my hand to my bandage and noticed that it was much smaller. “This is half the size of the one you took off,” I mused. “I’ll bet it feels better,” he said with a smile.

Hi guys! Firstly, I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been supporting my book. It honestly means more to me than you know. Thank you for taking a chance on my writing, for reading Andrea and Rafael’s story, and for being here with me on this journey. 🙏💛 I’ve recently gone back through the story and made a few changes. I’ve moved a couple of chapters around and changed a few things to help the pacing and make the story flow better.

Adrian asked, his tone awkward as he glanced over at me. I nodded, feeling a little uncomfortable. "Yeah, I finished it last night. It was... okay, I guess." Adrian raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical. "Just okay? I thought you liked that book." I shrugged, not wanting to get into a debate. "It was fine, but it's not my favorite." Adrian nodded, though he seemed a little disappointed. "Well, at least we can agree on something for once." I forced a smile, trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah, I guess so."
