The Ascension

The Ascension

... “Our universe is actually composed of just three Great Worlds, the Skyworld, the Mortal World, and the Underworld.” Under the watchful gaze of the stars, Sam stood facing the blazing fire of the bonfire and spoke. One time the visitors and some islanders gathered in the beach for a bonfire event, Sam, the highest authority amongst the mortals in that island took that opportunity to preach. “The galaxies that held various types of celestial bodies are part of the Mortal World. The two other Great Worlds are not ones that could be visited just by anyone.”

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

Book of Mirrors I: The Celestials

Book of Mirrors I: The Celestials

Haneul said. "The Travelers have always stayed out of celestial business for centuries, and for good reason. All and any orders that we get from the Macroversial plane we have always relayed to the proper authorities. I'm sorry, Haneul, but I am surrendering you all to the custody of the Celestial Police. Any traveling out of the institute has been prohibited until they arrive. Attempts will end in death." Antoine took on an apologetic tone, but this didn't make his statement any less concerning. Minho and Alice both looked up from their seats, and Haneul felt his muscles tense more than they already were. As for Tina, her gaze darted around the room in confus

The Adventure of August Back to Earth

The Adventure of August Back to Earth

I know it's an assessment and that's my schedule, but that subject is crazy. "Gen, is this serious or just a prank?" I ask here. There is no way a subject can be this ridiculous. "What about it? You're enrolled as a celestial lady so there is nothing wrong with the schedule." It answered that there is no dust. "Oh." I only answered. "And what is this celestial lady thing?" I asked. Because I only know celestial and not celestial lady. "Celestial Ladies is a high-rank ladies in the society. Celestial Ladies do the praying for the peace of the land and have a healing ability. Celestial Ladies also are the candidate for the crown prince's wife in the future." This is the answer.

THE LUNA’S ASCENSION

THE LUNA’S ASCENSION

Waiting for me. At last, the narrow corridor opened into a massive chamber. Columns stretched toward a domed ceiling carved with constellations—stars frozen in time. In the center of the room stood an altar, cracked but still radiating a strange, ethereal glow. At its base, a circular pool of water shimmered with an eerie, silver light. Elias approached the altar cautiously, his eyes fixed on the glyphs etched into the stone. "This isn't just a temple," he whispered. "It's... a vault. A place meant to guard something.”

But even with magic on his side, he could not overcome the werewolves' wrath. The final battle came on the night of the Red Moon, a rare celestial event that painted the sky in blood. The werewolves believed it to be a sign from the gods, a blessing for their vengeance. Under the blood-red sky, they gathered their forces for a final assault on the human capital. Leoric, though aged and wounded, led the charge. His body, once weakened by years of peace, was now fueled by rage and the desire for justice. Fenrir, ever by his side, howled as they descended upon the city.

Crescent Reflection

Crescent Reflection

The silky coat was easy to move my hands through. I smiled at her as she allowed me move my fingers gently up her neck to her head. The contrast between my pale hands and her dark coat was intense. The pendant glowed on my chest, However, this time it shined white instead of grey. The color illuminated brightly between us and we both knew. I just had to accept her for all of this to be better. The pendent blinked once and went back to black. That must have been the part of the moon goddess’s love. Pure white. Blinding for the human eye.

The Childless Sky

The Childless Sky

Eventually, she could not stand it anymore and just crumbled. … After the plane touched down, Grandpa was whisked away to the best medical care available. The esteemed leader himself escorted me to the reception dinner. Inside the lab building, over twenty researchers stood ready. We walked into the hall to a synchronized round of applause. With a simple hand gesture from the leader, the clapping ceased. "Everyone, this is Marvin Rogers," he said, beaming with pride. "Marvin, care to share a few words?" I cleared my throat, "Since we're all friends here, I'll skip the formalities. I'm thrilled to be part of this team…"

“Are you really Knox’s mate, or are you just playing some kind of game?” Lydia blinked, stunned by the bluntness of the question. “Excuse me?” Ella tilted her head. “You heard her. It’s just a little hard to believe that Knox would have a mate. Especially someone like you.” “Well, do you expect him to be mateless? I can’t blame you, and if you think I’m some kind of ride-along, then I guess you’re wrong. We are a mate-blessed bond from the Moon Goddess. I’m sorry—there’s nothing you can do.” Lydia threw in the remark, which earned a scowl. She knew she’d hit the spot, but they were at a party, so obviously, they could do nothing.

Beyond the moon

Beyond the moon

Many questions in my head are all seeking answers. “My mate, Calla, told me about her uncle who lost his mate to a terrible accident. Her death drove him crazy, he was going to be a rogue. But the moon goddess, being merciful, gave him a second-chance mate. And they are living happily together with their pups. So it's likely going to be the same case.” Roman answers intelligently. I bet this is the most intelligent thing he has said in a long time. “Yes. I've read about that, once, but I didn't know it was real. You need to go talk to her, brother. You'll be fine.” Catherine reassures me, sitting beside me and squeezing my arm, trying to comfort me.
