The Day After Tomorrow Library Novels & Stories

Where and How was it supposed to be used? Tomorrow, I would visit the library, and delve deeper, hopefully, I’d find something that answers some of my questions. For now, I think the next step is to sleep.

Zoe's POV: I'm Zeo Lupine, a freshman student at Ryard University of San Diego. Short and robust with pretty face. I walked into the school's gigantic library for the first time and I was marveled by the sight the loomed before me. The library , a magnificent space with towering shelves of books, soft reading nooks, and large oak tables, bathed in the gentle glow of reading lamps that cast a warm, inviting atmosphere. I took my seat in a secluded corner, surrounded by rows of ancient books, each whispering its own story. The library had always been a sanctuary for me, a place where I could lose myself in the world of words.

⸻ “Someone has stolen the ending.” The library shook violently. ⸻ Books began falling from endless shelves. 📖💥📖 ⸻ And somewhere in the deepest section of the library… A dark figure slowly closed a stolen book. 🖤 ⸻ A book titled: THE END OF REALITY ⸻ The figure smiled. ⸻ Then whispered: ⸻ “Let’s see how your story ends now.” ⸻ 🌌📖🖤 ⸻

The Kingdom That Refused to Die. The Boy Who Stole Tomorrow. The Last Moon. The Silent Ocean. Stories that had never been written. Stories that had been erased. Stories still waiting for an author. The woman looked around in disbelief. "This place..." "...is older than the Library." The First Reader nodded slowly. "It is where every story is born." A distant bell echoed. One time. Then twice. With the third ring... every door slowly opened. Inside each doorway... Adrian saw another version of himself. One was a king.

... I bolted upright in my dorm bed, drenched in sweat. My roommate, Alice Hoyle, hovered over me, her brow furrowed with worry. "Elena, you alright? A nightmare?" I blinked at her familiar freckled face, then scanned the room. It was my college dorm, and I was alive. With doubt in my mind, I grabbed my phone and checked the date. It was 9 a.m., August 13th. On the same day, my dad had orchestrated his "death".

EMILIA'S POV After school that day I had to stay extra hours with Nili and Eva in detention. If I had to do it alone, I would have been grateful but this two kept annoying me. They would rather take selfies and video calls all day. Yesterday, the principal came to warn us that if we fail to clean and rearrange all the books in the library today, we are likely to come and finish it tomorrow which is Saturday. He said we need to start afresh chore by Monday and it is still not yet known by us.

“Tomorrow.” We reached the hall doors. I paused, staring at them. Alfredo stopped too. “Ready.” He said it flat, not as a question. I stood there thinking. One room, fourteen Alphas, claimant at the table, last night before everything shifts. “One thing first,” I said quietly. He turned, waited. I put my hand against his chest, felt his heartbeat. Lamplight, council grounds, Renner, Fred—all of it swirling around us. “Whatever happens tomorrow,” I said, steady. “In that hall. However it goes. You, me, the baby—that’s what’s real. Everything else is just the scenery.”

And as we stood there together— Hand in hand beneath the bookstore lights— For the first time in a very long time, Tomorrow didn’t seem quite so frightening.

I could make out only one car outside but none of them was in sight. Okay...time to panic again. They left me. They freaking left me. How could they? How will I get out of here? Tomorrow is Saturday, the library will be closed for another two days. OH MY GOD, I won't be stuck here for two days, would I? I mean, they would notice that they forgot me here, wouldn't they? Jesus, do I have the best friends ever or what? I waited by the door for a couple of minutes before I decided to walk back into the library, maybe it'll be less colder in there.
