The Day After Tomorrow Library Novels & Stories

I was still getting to know them, but they seemed to be nice enough. It was another Tuesday afternoon in the library. I was curled in the nest I created out of tons of pillows and blankets I had been slowly collecting and adding to the space over the last month. I picked the perfect spot in the far corner of the library. The spot nestled up against the wall of windows that looked out over the vast expanse of trees, mountains, and snow just beyond the bright skyline of the city. While curled up in my nest, I sometimes caught myself drifting into a daydream, imagining myself running through those mountains and trees…in another life…another time…a time when I had a wolf…er at least a wolf like

It was almost afternoon and i didn't realize that i had fallen asleep. When i woke up, someone else was next to me. I looked around for a moment, but she was no longer there. I went out of the library and hoped to see her again, but i never seen her again. The next day, i went to the library again. Maybe this time i'll see her again. I went there early, so i could reach her right away. So, i sat down again in our previous position and just stared at the door while waiting for her to arrive.

I walk into the library deciding it best to skip lunch with a good tale and some music. Picking a few books from the novel section before walking to a secreted corner, I plug in my earphone getting lost in my book. Another boring day and finally I can go home to my safe zone watching N*****x. I stopped by my locker to drop my books before going to the bus stop. Just two weeks more before I graduate and then leave this pack traveling across the world but that can only happen if the Alpha grants me the permission and ma agrees. I didn't have to wait long before a bus stop, I got in finding a seat at the back close to two girls looking not less than seventeen.

I just finished my afternoon class and I badly need to library because I have a lot of school works to finish today since I’m half day absent yesterday. I should’ve been on my way to home now, but I think I’m gonna overtime because of the stupidity I did yesterday. I also haven’t called or talked to Tess about her plans tomorrow Saturday about her birthday plans. I didn’t also have the chance to eat lunch earlier. I’m hungry, I think I’m gonna cry. I entered my library card and walk over to Ms. Bailey. “Good afternoon!” I said, showing her my most beautiful smile. Please, don’t remember it! Please! Please!

She should mind all her worries tomorrow and once tomorrow comes, she should set them aside while keeping her focus towards the future. As of now, she is busy scanning the bookshelves in the library for the second time while trying to look for more interesting book titles; trying to find anything that would pique her interest in reading. It wasn’t like there was nothing that she could understand from the first batch of books she read. In fact, she already finished everything and memorized their contents. Just that, she couldn’t really perform them yet.

After the tour Rosa and Sofia thanked Will and went back to their room. They were exhausted and decided to take a nap till dinner time but suddenly Rosa remembered that she left the book which she borrowed in the library so she rushed back to the library. After taking the book she was heading back but stopped as she saw a faint reddish glow at the corner of the library. Out of curiosity she went there but what she saw there scared her out of her wits. She would have never imagined it in her wildest dreams.

"Tomorrow, I was thinking…" "Tomorrow can wait," I interrupted, pointing toward the gate. "I'm done for the night. Good night, my probationary boyfriend." Without waiting for him to respond, I walked into the complex. I didn't look back, but I felt his gaze linger until I turned the corner into the building. Back home, I leaned against the door, yet my heart was still racing uncontrollably. My phone buzzed. It was a message from Yoel, still saved under the contact name "Mr. Y".

I could not afford to lose time arguing, so I borrowed a colleague's car and sped off to the kindergarten. Meanwhile, Alicia had started a live stream on her phone. My heart raced as I watched Tony leap from a 50-meter-high platform, his safety rope dangling precariously unsecured. Just as I feared, the rope came undone as he neared 10 meters. Miraculously, Tony landed perfectly on the safety mat, unharmed. I rushed to the kindergarten just in time to find Laura lying there unconscious, her legs smeared with blood.

The books she had opened were piled untouched beside the monitor. Zaria’s mind wandered far beyond the window. Her gaze was fixed on the late afternoon sky, which was slowly changing colour. The soft orange light was reflected in the library's large glass panels, yet everything still felt bleak to her. Time continued to slip away meaninglessly. Zaria didn’t realise how long she had been daydreaming until the sound of a book trolley rolling by brought her back to reality. Two library staff members were pushing a cart filled with books to be reshelved. They spoke quietly as they began to turn off a few lamps in the corners of the room—a sign that the library was about to close.
