“Under the light of the Moon Goddess, on behalf of the Elders of Crescent Moon Pack, I name you Luna.” The moonlight surged. Silver light poured down, enveloping me completely—warm, heavy, undeniable. It pressed into my skin and sank deep, settling into bone and soul alike. The clearing pulsed in response, ancient magic awakening as the Moon Goddess herself sealed the bond. I stood there, glowing, grounded, claimed—no longer just becoming. I was Luna.

Leah roared, trying hard to escape, but she didn't know that the lassos from the demon realms burn the demon's skin and makes you weak. She can fight all she wants, but it will damage her. When she doesn't have any fight on her left, Leah starts to have weak legs and falls back with a loud thud. Now that she had lost the will to fight. All the demons she had summoned disappeared. For one second the old hurt came back. The pain from the clearing when he said no. The way everyone turned away from me. But the hurt did not make me small anymore. It made me steady.
