The denim stepped back, a glint of metal piercing through the dense landscape as Damon tried to scramble backwards, his tiny fists raw and bleeding as they hovered over his face in an act of self-defense. Silver lashes folding downward to mask his fear as laughter rang in his ears. "...Just as I thought..." Leaves crunched all around him, and the black ankle boots Damon adorned on occasion drew to his shivering body in haste. Why was he so numb? Why did everyone hate him? He peeked out from beneath his lashes to trail his gaze over the twisted grins hidden beneath the fog, cerulean eyes, smoldering brown, children'

explained Miss Kitty eloquently. “So, Mr. Virando is indeed a kind of strong, robust and powerful demon, isn’t he?” asked Mrs. Yulia Kammal raising up her eyebrows again. “Not a demon actually... Yakshasare one level above us humans – more or less semi gods... And so are dragons, gandharbas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and garudas... They’re not demons... Demons are one level below us humans... "You see, we are the descendants of some demi gods who were sent down to help the creatures who were at war with each other a long time ago. Many years ago, wolves, Vampires, and even humans all lived together. The vampires were the most supreme beings. They had a lot of power and they ruled all the lands. Just beneath them were the wolves. The wolves have always been ambitious species but none of them had the power to go against the vampires. And the humans, they were the least of all. They were what we will call peasants today. Their life wasn't taken seriously at all and many of them were killed by either vampires

Every memory he had was being overwritten, scenes of torture and agony being stamped onto the mental photographs. Xavier let him go, dropping him to the floor with a circle of sixes burned into his forehead, smoking but soon vanishing. He stood unscathed, laughing. "You humans entertain me to no end with your arrogance. You think that by shouting some words, you can wield the power of God? That you can rain His judgment down upon me? That you, mortal men, have the ability to defeat a demigod like me? Nothing you ever do will be able to stop me. I'm the son of the Devil and a living human, do you know what means? My demon half protects me from all things physical, while my human half protects
