Lenox pov The demon boy is a weird dude to say the least. First of all, he looks weird. I mean, I don’t doubt he’s some kind of hot stuff down here, given that the only other demon I saw was the fucker I killed and he sure as heck was ugly as shit, so I don’t have the right to judge him or anything. But, by my standards, he’s too much of everything. Looks even probably wouldn’t be the biggest issue because what annoys me the most is how he follows me around.

His posture, strangely feline as it was, remained relaxed. He rolled onto his back and the light from my bedside lamp caught on something in his hand. “You are an awfully morose creature. You punish yourself for things beyond your control. Your guilt is ritualistic.” His expression turned curious now, almost boyishly so, if such a thing were possible. “Does writing your innermost thoughts bring you any relief at all? It seems a weakness.”
