"Have a nice day." "And you too." I entered the diner and then took a seat in the middle of the room. The diner had white and black round tables with at least four chairs surrounding it. It was not too fancy or old looking. It was just a normal diner. Most of Joe's colleagues preferred to eat here than the company's cafeteria. I can tell that they are her colleagues by the way most of them are dressed. I sent anither quick text to Joe, "I'm here. Where the fuck are you woman?"

Chapter 51 The Informant Ariana’s POV I picked the diner on purpose. It sat on the edge of the industrial district where truckers and night-shift workers stopped for coffee and eggs, the kind of place where a woman who owned a large share of a tech company would never normally set foot, and that was exactly the point. Kylan sat across from me in the corner booth, his eyes moving to the parking lot every few seconds while I kept both hands wrapped around a coffee cup I had no real intention of drinking.

I smile when I see it is from Bella. "Tonight at eight at the diner," The message says. I smile as I know that this is a date with a twist. She just wanted me to go to the diner. And now she tricked me into agreeing to go with her wherever and when she wants. She's a little fox. I would love to tame her. I know she wants to convince me that I have to keep the diner part as it is. However, I must break down everything if I have to rebuild the building. I do not think she understands it. Or perhaps she wants me to keep the whole building as it is. I like the game. She is trying to play with me.

Emma smiled and said, "Don't worry, Mr. Cline. We're not fighting." Just then, Dad spotted Scott standing behind Emma. I took hold of Dad's hand. "Dad, let me take you back to the nursing home." Dad pushed my hand away, his eyes suspicious. "Emma, who is this young man?" Scott smiled and walked up to Dad, looking him up and down. "Mr. Cline, your memory must be failing you in your old age. You and my father go way back—how can you not recognize me?" Dad's face turned deathly pale in an instant. "It's you! What are you doing here?"

My father was a smuggler, but no one except family knew that. Not even Belle or Beverly. "But isn't it just a game?... It doesn't really matter about physical skills". He laughed under his voice, "read the instructions, and if you're still confused about anything... Text me in the game" "Why can't I just call?" There was no echo, as if he’d spoken into a hungry vacuum that swallowed his voice. He passed a cursory glance around, seeing nothing unusual. A chipped Formica counter ran the diner’s length on one side. Booths with dull, faded red leather cushions lined the other. Along the counter stood evenly spaced stools with red, round cushions that looked like gigantic push-buttons on a toy radio. Behind the counter gaped a rectangular window peering into the kitchen beyond, through which a short order cook could slide plates and trays, presumably ringing a bell and barking out orders in a clichéd, gravelly voice.

The restaurant manager,Mister Matias is the only man I've seen who dressed up formally in long sleeve button down shirt and slacks while most of the guys here are showing off their muscles in tight t shirts and skinny ripped jeans. Some of the girls who comes are expecting to meet the Diner's owner too.I've heard his name is Jack,this diner is named after him. They say he's a filthy rich young man and a jaw dropping gorgeous playboy who loves to travel the world and have fun. This diner is just one of his few minor businesses. Well,I've never seen him around and It's not like i care. Even the manager Mr. Matias was only seen twice by me and that is the day when i get hired and the other day

Even though I ate at the diner two times a week, Andy’s bacon grilled cheese hit the spot. “You can’t tell me you aren’t the tiniest bit curious.” Adley smirked, pointing at me with her cheese-coated french fry. “Their territory is huge, and the setting changes each year. Plus, no one’s ever seen the Game Maker’s face. If I got an invitation, I’d use my cunning nature and find the Game Maker.” “You? Cunning?” I snorted, collapsing into laughter. “Okay, so I’m not a mischievous trouble maker like some but I’m not completely inept.” Adley scoffed, tossing a french fry at me in disapproval.

They drove for a bit until they came upon an 50’s style diner. “This looks perfect! I can get a milkshake too.” Alys happily hopped out. They walked in and sat down at a shiny blue booth with a jukebox on the table, a waitress came over in a pink poodle skirt and white blouse to hand them menus. Alys ended up getting a burger with onion rings and a chocolate milkshake, while Aiden got Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and fries. Alys downed her meal and even started to steal some of Aiden’s fries. “Wow, you really were hungry!” He laughed as she stuffed another fry in her mouth.
