The creature attacking him had hit its mark and filthy claws scored a hit across his chest and racked deep gashes just above his stomach. He’d live and it let him all but tear out the creature’s throat causing it to drop with its head lolling to the side at an angle that was far from natural. Dark almost-black blood pooled at the wound. It didn’t gush or flow like it would from a living creature.

I was sick of hearing this and that, which was always not good, according to Jeff. "Hey, you come here too often. You're just my Mom's friend." I glared at Jeff. My father was even more handsome, with an authoritative face than Jeff. To me, Jeff is just like a 30-year-old guy with flirtatious eyes and a passion for stripping all the girls. "Didn't your mother tell you? Maybe she and I have a special relationship. Besides, I'm one of the werewolf council members in town. Your uncle the Alpha so I'm your uncle's best friend," said Jeff arrogantly.

'D-Drake. Someone called him again, but then he realized that Emily was calling him. His jaw clenched as he faced the hunters. "You're ungrateful, human! You dare to hurt that unwanted Luna—the stray?" he roared. The hunters moved backward as Drake suddenly shifted into a wild werewolf. His eyes turned red. "Unwanted, Luna? Stray?" The hunter scoffed as his men laughed soundly. "She's not unwanted. She's a Luna who will carry your heir, but before that, I will kill you first, and then, she'll follow you."

I have no idea. While I was talking to Leana, explaining what had happened, Drake had gone out hunting, bringing back a deer for her. While I’m used to werewolves killing forest creatures, I’m not used the violence that was shown in this carcass. The throat had been ripped out, leaving a gaping wound and nearly decapitating the poor creature.

His mind wanted to just see what would happen between them but his body just move when he saw the wounded hunter. Seeing the hunter that is pin ain, he also feels something that is pricking his heart. He couldn't just watch her suffering from the attacks of the Rogues. After a few seconds, the three Rogues start attacking him. They joined forces just to harm him but they didn't make a single scratch on his body. As the werewolf who has the highest rank in the pack, they could not win against him. In just three minutes the three Rogues are out of breath. He gave them time to harm him but they just couldn't do it. After all, he is ten times stronger than them.

“Don’t do what Jeff did. He got out of it because he was unconscious. Doctor Graves told me about it. I’m still teasing him about that.” Yolanda looked at the human before her. “I don’t mean to be rude, but who are you?” There was a human sitting behind Aria’s giant monitor. Why Aria needed a 27” monitor? Yolanda would never know. “Yolanda, let me introduce Jeff’s mate, Juliette. Jules, this is the leader of the Hell Hounds, Yolanda Redgrave. She’s Aria’s cousin.” “Wait, Jeff has a mated? How is he doing?”

How can you abandon your mate the way you have, and believed some liar over her?” Wanda snapped at me. “I’m sorry, but what? My mate is seated right beside me. Layla's POV: The last few lectures have been about things such as werewolves, witches, and vampires. The Professor has also spoken in depth about the history of Draphend and its association with the supernatural. I am eager to learn more about these beings, hoping to find out more about myself as well as the Draven family. The night Mr Draven hired me he told me of the family's secret. They are vampires. He assured me I was in no danger as they fulfill their thirst for blood on animals. For some strange reason I felt at ease as soon as I entered the Draven manor.
