“What question?” His voice dropped to a whisper. “The Architect is asking…” He hesitated again. “What?” Kieran pressed. The young god looked directly at us. And repeated the message that had just arrived through the ancient signal. “Why are the gods still alive?”

The Eternal God says quietly. ‘He isn’t going to listen. Ask for something else.” Zedkiel murmurs through the bond. I frown, what else can I ask? “What I want… is an answer to something…” “Then ask.” He says emotionlessly. I take a deep breath, hoping it’s the right question. ‘Careful, Little Mouse…’ ‘Yeah…’ I answer Zedkiel before turning my attention back to the Eternal God. “What will it take for you to give our kind a second chance?” I say out loud.

A particular voice echoes. “Well, well, well, looks who's here?” A kid, but only in a form and more like HIS façade faces her. To HIS smiles and eyes that draw with the colors of both night and sunset. She asks. “Who are you?” Giggling as HE expects to hear the same question over and over again, HE gladly replies. “You see, I am God.”

The trees looked like they were moving back as we drove forward, I wished that I was like those tress, moving back to a place I was once happy, I place where I was not a slave and Austin was my brother. ‘Goddess, is it because I am human? Is that why you don’t answer my prayers? Because you are a Goddess of the supernatural not humans?’ I asked the Moon Goddess, I was not expecting an answer because she never answers me. Let me try God one last time, he is the God humans worship so, he should be helping me because i am human too.

“What I’m asking from you might be too much, but we all are in danger fox, even gods themselves and you were right. I have lost someone and now I have a feeling that he is here in the mortal realm, seeking power.” The god said through gritted teeth and the fox tilted her head to the side thoughtfully with her eyes regarding the god in confusion. “There is no god you might fear and no foe you can’t defeat, my lord who would that person might be unless he is someone you ar……” The fox started to say, then her eyes widened and her words died on her tongue as she watched the god in horror as he gritted his teeth. “Who does he mean?” I asked her in a small voice and the fox flinched, but she shook

She asked as the whispers escaped his lips. "Yo-You gave me a question." He whispered, "I found the answer... You asked... me to find about... that verse'... Or more precisely... who said it... I have an answer... for you." He winced as his hand gripped his painfully burning side while Maya's body froze. "But... I want to ask you something... first... If I die here... will you really come and... punish God for creating... misunderstandings amongst us... sis?" He winced as he felt his body losing warmth along with his blood. "Krishna?"

Ava walked into the center of the court with ash in her hair and a recorder in her hand. She looked exhausted. She looked magnificent. "Question one," she said to the bell-crowned god. "When did you first hear unanswered prayers gathering beneath Qinghe?" The god's mouth tightened.

he asked, leaning to the fountain. “Actually just a name,” I said intrigued, “What was it?” “Name? It’s strange for you to get names,” he asked as he frowned, “You sure about this?” “Yes, I am. There must be a reason I keep seeing them.” I said frowning, “It would be best to ask about it.” “Once the Goddess visit, we shall ask her. This is quite intriguing.” He said standing up, “If you excuse me, I would leave. I have duty.”

This request might be my savior in such conditions. "Alright... but remember, this is your only request," she emphasized to me. "Yes, I understand," I confidently replied. "Now that all the preparations are complete, I will send you off." "Wa-wait, god..." I interjected. "What else? Your requests are finished, and my time is running out." "It's just a question. What is your name?" "My name is ******." A pretty cool god's name, even though she said she's just a messenger.
