The Golem Mage Novels & Stories

Coell burst out laughing in excitement as he finally got a Victory, no matter how small. The Victory was short-lived as a massive flaming tiger appeared and latched his teeth into the golem. Within seconds its body was engulfed in flames and exploded into burning splinters and ash. Coell could not believe his eyes, "how can a Diamond Realm mage possess such a powerful flame?"

A golem is an animated creature that has been constructed via magic as a servant or protector for the person who created it. The body of a golem is normally constructed from a single raw material, such as rock or clay. These creatures are usually unintelligent, mindless entities and cannot act on their own. They also will not obey anyone other than the person who created them. Golems are made by molding the material in the shape the golem is desired to be, most of the time being humanoid, but animal-shaped golems aren't unheard of.

She rolled up her sleeves and walked to Grandma Rose’s pantry. “I read something about them and ancient spells in the book about the orbs, but I don’t remember exactly what.” I muttered, leaning against the table. “Golems are magical creatures that we can call forth in time of need.” She explained, rummaging through the shelves. “They are made of stone and clay, with specific ingredients to enhance the spell. We will make two puppet-like creatures, because we are two druids, we can’t make more of them. Afterwards, we’ll place them in a magical circle in the field.”

And the total price that you get from this golem is 15 gold. The price increased by a lot because of its unscathed hide." Kiza informed, and handed me the pouch.

I picked up a tiny rock and showed it to him in my palm. “Watch closely.” After swiping one hand over the other, I show him both but with no stone in sight. He steps back from me for a moment, “You’re a witch!” he laughs, coming back to me, knowing full well I’m absolutely not a witch and certainly had no idea how to use the amulet. “Where did it go?” Waving my hands in front of him once more I materialize the rock...from inside my sleeve.
