I continued reading my book ‘The Name of All Things by Jenn Lyons’, just as I opened my book I heard growling. My entire body froze turning cold; I took a big breath and looked into the direction of the growling. I met the eyes of a wolf, glowing green eyes. “So… I assume you’re the one who attacked that girl.” I said as I slowly made my way to my feet and moved back toward the door. Then the wolf leaped and I stumbled tripping; I fell back hitting my head and everything went dark.

Grey ordered and walked in and checked the room in its entirety, but it was empty so it was safe to assume Tina was already hiding at the same place Grey was forcing me to go. We had walked a few steps when we were suddenly surrounded by four rogue wolves. Grey and Ray launched an attack immediately and fought them off using a foot-long blade attached to a wooden handle that was too short to be called a sword. “As you can see, this is no place for a woman, much less a pregnant woman,” he said and I snarled. The wolf Grey had taken down had a shallow wound and it jumped up to bite him when I grabbed the blade at Ray's waist and slashed at it. It dropped to the floor.

Compelled. I found myself stepping forward, my hand reaching out until my fingers brushed against his massive muzzle. The fur was surprisingly soft. I ran my hand up, threading my fingers through the thick ruff of his cheek. “You’re so beautiful…” I whispered, looking into his intelligent grey eyes. Grey? Not green like in the dream, or black like Gavin’s when his wolf was surfacing. There was so much I didn’t understand.

In a wave his hand burned a bright blue flame. "Who said I am going alone!".... ----------- In the elevator Grey tried to flip the switch in his mind, the one that brings his wolf forward to no avail. All he needed before was to channel his anger but it seems like there was none left, his wolf was no where to be found. He felt a slight bit of cold as the elevator opened to the living space.. Ten at the sitting area nose deep in a fashion magazine. She tucked a strand of her hair behind an ear and all worry was lost.

Taking a thought back I remembered seeing a message on Gunner's phone, that was the night (several months ago) we went to Grayson's house warming party. I cringed remembering the event that followed and the unpleasantness that followed. Forcing myself to quit thinking back to that night I returned my gaze at the lioness, observing the way he gnawed at the human body on the ground. A thought came across my mind what if she one day turned against me. "That is impossible," my wolf said coming up from the back of my mind. "So you are still alive?" I asked but she had already blocked me so I turned to the beast. "That can't possibly be the same person could it? Clearene their are other people tha

asked the black she-wolf, she was beginning began to panic. "Annihilation." Agatha's magic shot out at the black she-wolf and hit her in the head. The black she-wolf was heavily injured. She was wobbling around. Within a few minutes she was gasping for air. "Now, whoever you are, I'm coming for you. I, Agatha Grey will find you," she said to the black she-wolf. She had five tails behind her now. The black she-wolf was looking straight into Agatha's eyes. Within a few minutes of blinking her eyes, she died painfully.

~ The creaks stopped. Penny held her breath, waiting for the force that would send the door flying to splinters off its hinges. She looked down at Lochlan, who was still unconscious. To Black, who could barely hold up his head. The wolf was wounded and needed help. Seeing him like that, unable to move... Penny swallowed a lump in her throat as a new realization formed in her mind. She had followed a wolf. A wolf she thought had been Black. Maybe Lochlan had a few tricks up his sleeve that she didn't know about. Or maybe it just wasn't Black she had followed in the dark woods, in the middle of a rainstorm with no questions. Penny swallowed again.

"Fine by me if you want to end it in our other forms." In an instant the man was a wolf. Her bones shifted and the pain from the broken ribs was excruciating. Once she was a wolf Clara stood on all fours. The other wolf blocked her exit. He started snarling at her, lunging forward. She moved out of the way each time, but he was forcing her backwards. Realizing she would have to go through him, Clara hurled herself forward. She caught him off-guard, but not enough to knock him down. She felt his teeth sink into her back and she let out a yelp. He clamped down hard and shook his head back and forth grinding his teeth in the process.

My wolf is a smaller wolf compared to Don's; it is a light brown wolf. His wolf licks my fur. Penny uses her paw to hit Don's wolf head. He gives a wolf grin. I smiled internally at myself. Penny decides to play with Don's wolf as she starts to run and he chases after her. We run after each other for hours until Penny finally got tired. Finally, Penny falls as she runs back to where we came from, and Don's wolf licks her. Gross. It's romantic, little human, Penny says, and I scoff.

Twenty minutes later, my suitcase waited by the door. That's when the front door slammed open. Kaelan carried Seraphina inside like she weighed nothing. She hung limp in his arms, skin gray as ash, lips bloodless—silver sickness, the worst thing a wolf can face. "Beckett!" His voice thundered through the house. "Universal antidote. Now." Beckett appeared at a run, took one look at her, and went pale. "It's gone, Alpha. We're out. We need Pureblood blood to synthesize more."
