Her hands gripped the damp forest ground. The large grey wolf had dense fur. The pattern of his fur is partially grey. In some parts, it has a darker colour close to black, such as on the neck and nape. He had bluish-grey eyes that flashed sharply. The wolf lunged at Jonea and pinned the girl's chest to the ground with its two front legs. His front snout is right opposite Jonea's tiny nose. It took Jonea a few seconds of silence to realize her dire situation.

Gray pulled out of his pocket a dirty, crumpled piece of paper with a leaky ink number, probably some chick, which he took judging by its appearance a hundred years ago, and placed it in front of the old wolf. - Do you have a pen? Gray inquired with feigned politeness, stroking his favorite machine like the chick whose number he supposedly took. Ibragimov did not look at him, let alone at the sheet, continuing to look at me as if he had seen me for the first time. Then he turned his gaze to Alyosha and suddenly laughed. Even Misha, clamped in the jaws of his brother, looked at him, at least strangely.

Dean’s POV continued- The cells are usually kept pretty dark. Since the wolves have better night vision it’s not a problem for them, but when we turn the bright spot lights on it sure makes it a lot worse for them too. We keep the observation area dark so the rogue can’t see everyone in the room. I decided not to tell Alec and Zander because, well, I still wanted to have a little fun. We got to the interrogation area and I held up a hand so they knew to hold back a bit, then I gave the signal for the lights. The flinching and barely audibly cursing coming from the wolves? Worth it. It took a second for them to recover and I tried my best to hide my smirk as Alec looked at me.

Flipping through the pages, there were sketches of wolves, and the last page that she’d written in had a detailed rendition of a nightmarish wolf-beast that made my blood run cold at the sight of it, it’s eyes smudged over with charcoal in the shape of a protective rune. My heart raced when I realized what I was holding. This was no ordinary journal, it was a spell book.

PENNY POV This is how we walk in front of a man just as blond as Aunty Kristen and Noah, who is Christopher Black, the younger brother of Aunty Kristen and uncle of the wolves.
