When you are ready let me know, I will try and set you up with someone else.” she said. In my bed that night, I could feel nothing but pain. One thing I have noticed after suffering from two heartbreaks is that the pain gets worse at night. Even in my dreams, I was crying, I needed Ralph back with me.

He smashed the frame to the floor and flicked open his lighter. My anger boiled over. I yanked the IV needle out of my hand and lunged forward. I stepped on some glass shards, leaving small drops of blood behind me.

I shrugged at that. I told her about the diary since I couldn't hide my anxiety before her, even though I tried, she still found out something was bothering me. "I just hope the people at the Cafe are able to find it soon." I said with a sigh. "Yes dear," she gently squeezed my hand reassuringly. "What is somewhat unbelievable, and what is anyone finding soon?"

A child's voice screamed, filled with hatred and sorrow, as they ran away. "Kid, wait! Don't--" A loud crash was followed by a child's piercing scream. Senna Zhang's eyes flew open, her back shooting up. She wiped her face with her hands. The child's screams and the final crash still echoed in her ears. The pain in her heart made her feel suffocated. "That nightmare again?" Senna's voice was barely a whisper, filled with anxiety. She got up and walked to the bathroom, locking herself in. She turned on the shower, letting the cold water drench her. "How long will this haunt me?"

One day, she inquired. "I will give you everything, and it ought to be sufficient for you. I don't love, you know," he said in response. Not surprising, I know, but shockingly, there was a heart-shape around my name with multiple smaller heart shapes around it. “What the heck is this?” It was clearly Tristan’s handwriting, judging from the handwriting in his diary. I dropped the book on the table and paid attention to the words on that page of the diary. ‘I’m more than frustrated today. I was tired of thinking of Hazel and over-working but then, my hands wouldn’t stop writing her name with heart shapes (paper stapled beside). What is wrong with me? I even stapled it? This is crazy, I want to stop thinking of her, but I just can’t.’
