Human Kid

Human Kid

The alarm clock beeped. A brunette stirred lazily on the bed. She tried to find the snooze button all to no avail. She clenched her hand into a fist and knocked the alarm clock away from her bedside table, sending it up in the air and crashing into her room's wall, making a big dent and destroying the alarm clock along with it. Suzanne turned to her other side to resume her sleep. This was Herotapolis, where the heroes lived. In this city there lived real, breathing heroes. You could tell already by the name of the city right?

Logan (Book 1)

Logan (Book 1)

Hello to my readers! This chapter is the last chapter for LOGAN and just to warn you it's a bit longer and I don't want to split it in half because this is an epilogue. I deeply apologize and would like to say thank you for joining me on this journey with completing book 1 of The Wolfe Brothers series. See you guys in book 2! It had been a week since the incident with Heather, and I was ready to return to school, acting as if nothing had happened. The next day I treated it like any other ordinary day.

he answered. "Do you know why heroes in history books died at an early age?" Nick turned his gaze on her. "No," good thing he didn't decide to burst her bubble. "Because they help without playing fair to their enemy. They fight despite a penny possibility of winning." He was looking straight into her eyes and listening to every word she spoke. "Now think twice, do you want to be just a hero or do you want to be the villain's enemy." "What's the difference though, if you help those unfortunate and fooled by those, let's just say bastard, you'll be their enemy, he concluded. She took a piece of bread and tore it into two.

I AM NO HERO

I AM NO HERO

Nicholas said still staring at me. I wrinkled my face at him. "Really?" "What?" "That's such a cheesy line and I've read it in too many romance novels to know what it means." | said and that seemed to have Nicholas interest because he sat up from the bed. "Oh yeah, what does it mean?” Nicholas asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes at his piqued interest. "The hero says something like that to the heroine and she momentarily forgets herself. Before you know it, they are making sex memories."

Really Dirty Business

Really Dirty Business

“I’ll let you know after I talk to them. See you both later, alright? The guards we have outside are Macky, Uly, Erica, and Kat. Just let them know what you need. Or you can call or text me. Bye now!” While handing out instructions, Hero gives each of his parents a quick peck on the forehead. He then grabs his leather jacket and small signature backpack then brings out his mobile. Soon, he was already on his way out, making a call to the limo driver as he rushes down the corridor to the main entrance. +++++++++++++++++++ Lyra’s smile upon reading Hero’s message was truly sincere. Right now, his encouragement is all the help she needed. Hey, if you ever need anything too, just tell me alright

I haven't read that much erotica, but I must say that this is a great story to start with. Especially if you want something non-vanilla from the get-go. The characters are well-written, and the plot has many layers and will keep you thinking. I like that it also has quite a bit of social commentary.

Human Kid

Human Kid

You could tell already by the name of the city right? Hero League was an organization that pooled together normal people and trained them to become heroes. From chasing of bank robbers to extinguishing of fires in burning buildings, to serving as body guards to important people as well as getting stranded animals down from trees, or odd places, the heroes were ever available. Duties were always assigned to the heroes according to their rankings. Slads were what the newbies at the hero league were called. All they basically did was train and foster a great team work among themselves.

Also the Holy knights aren’t so great to be very honest, we are just doing our jobs and helping out in any way we can ( Alex responds as he put out his hand and shook General Mulligan) GENERAL MULLIGAN : Oh come on, no need to be so modest. We have heard all about the exploits of the Great Holy knights. You all are great assets to the survival of the human race. ALEXANDER : The Apostles and Disciples are the real heroes taking on the real power houses threatening our existence. We only take out the trash which is basically not a big deal GENERAL MULLIGAN : You are truly a modest man, well then fine I shall try my best to see you as an equal. I should thank you for hearing our call and coming

Liars Like Us - Book 1: Legacy of Lies

Liars Like Us - Book 1: Legacy of Lies

“This world is nothing but liars.” Dante slid his arm around her waist, his lips brushing her hair. “Then let’s be the best liars of them all.” Their eyes lingered on their daughter, the wolf and his queen watching their heir sleep, their reign carved in blood, their future balanced on lies. For now, it was enough.
