“The Baron wants the hobgoblin’s barbed club. I don’t know if he understands the meaning of diplomacy, but it is what it is.” Laughing without mirth, Zen accepted the new quest and sighed. He’d just confirmed the status of the hobgoblin with the scout. Although the hobgoblin was injured from the cursed tree expedition, he was still strong enough to defend his camp. “I’ll try to figure out something,” he thanked the merchant and left with Venedict in tow.

Chapter 5: The Spotlight Effect Jake had expected the media frenzy to die down after their dinner at Le Jardin. Instead, it had only intensified. The next morning, his phone buzzed nonstop with notifications, his social media flooded with messages from strangers dissecting every detail of their date. Fans were shipping them, critics were speculating, and tabloids were crafting their own dramatic versions of events. It was overwhelming, and for someone who had lived a quiet, predictable life, the sudden shift felt like whiplash.

We saw some images of the resorts you stayed at and images taken from inside a helicopter on your Twitter and I*******m accounts. 'It was amazing. My favourite moments were probably the glow worm cave and when dolphins swam up to us in the ocean.' 'Mr Brightly, what was your favourite part of the honeymoon?' 'Having Zurielle by my side the whole time was my favourite part.' He smiles, smitten. The media and I awe at his words. 'Aside from having your beautiful wife by your side, what did you enjoy the most?' 'The tour of Hobbiton and the dolphins interacting with us,' he says, holding my hand.

A clean, contained thing. I looked at the boy arranging marshmallows into a pattern only he understood. I looked at the man sitting quietly across from me, one thumb tracing the rim of his mug. I took a sip of the hot chocolate, warm and slightly too sweet and exactly right, and understood, for the first time since stepping off that plane, that the thing I had been escaping toward had already shifted into something I hadn't planned for at all. I wasn't sure yet whether that was frightening or the opposite of it. The storm outside showed no sign of stopping.

Hygge didn't continue calling because when he opened his eyes, Ataraxis was already gone. He just returned to his position earlier while smiling. "Wish you luck." He said in a whisper while suppressing his smile. He knows that Ataraxis can't find rum in the kingdom of Ataraxia because Wine is what the Muggles are proud of while Rum and Beers are what the Dwarves are proud of. And for the Elves it is fruit juice or vegetable juice sometimes they prefer tea's and herbals. The next morning Welkin, Hygge, Azure, Meraki, Yūgen and of course Fika are peacefully preparing at the home of the Oxburges for their journey to Raconteur. Until they heard a shout from outside.

He winced when he saw the place. "Well, we need to be prepared, too many hiding places, and little movement. Want to hire horses?" He asked Rena, she was looking at the map so intensely, he was about to pull her to his side when she suddenly spoke. "Beware when traveling, For Death is always near, Trust your instincts, To know what is real. Deception has always been a part of their plan, Trust the wolf inside for it is your guide; Don't lose sight of the person you hold dear,

He didn't want to go further but he heard Leath's voice that caught his attention. "I will not participate in the trip to Silvenia, Sir Moreau," she said. The Silvenian trip will be a compulsory trip for seniors and Hayden thought that everyone would like a trip to another country without them worrying about the important landmarks or history of it like most of their trips, why wouldn't Leath Mayfair want to come? Isn't she Silvenian? "It's not because of me, right?" He nervously asked himself. Hayden knew he went too far with his teasing but he didn't know that she'll report it right away to his father.

Dory beside me was already asleep. Good gracious, it’s my first time riding a plane. Ms. Dory did a huge favor to me, and I don’t know how to repay her. She’s so kind and I’m thinking why doesn’t she settle down? She deserves everything and it seems like—I don’t know but I can sense that there’s a sadness reigning in her. Like how she looked at you, you can see through the depths of her eyes that she may have a painful past or something.

Not even if it means that I won’t be safe. I’m just confused by all of this, but Roshan is going to give me answers. As we walk through the town, I realize it’s not as small as I once thought. The dirt path turns to cobblestone and the houses, hidden beneath the trees, get larger and larger. A castle that is built into the side of the mountain catches my eye and all I can do is blink. This is entire town is like something straight out of The Hobbit. I’m just waiting for them to tell me there’s a dragon bathing in gold inside.

The rabbits would then panic after realizing a predator was in their midst, and they would all scurry out of the nest, and right into the traps they set up outside. Robb took one last breath before slipping Scout into the rabbit hole. He had to encourage the furry to continue as he was not as compliant to him as he was to Lira. Robb sat back and watched the ferret disappear into the darkness and waited. The past few days did not go as Robb expected. Not that he had experienced traveling before, but he had read stories of adventuring parties going off on a quest, finding some hidden treasure or hunting down an evil mage. He thought it would be exciting, that every day they would be on their t
