(Aria's POV ) The forest still smelled like smoke and blood. By the time we reached the Hollow, dawn had folded into late afternoon. The trees grew denser here, taller, older, their roots knotted deep into the earth. The air hummed with something quiet but alive, like the forest itself was watching us. The Hollow wasn’t just a place. It was a sanctuary. The wolves had carved it out years ago, hidden beneath layers of spellwork and earth, woven into a valley wrapped in mist. No outsider had ever set foot here and lived to talk about it. The wards thrummed as we approached, soft pulses brushing against my skin like curious fingers.

Situations like this made being a detective difficult. The lake level had somehow dwindled, exposing seven, naked, female corpses. The stench of decomposed flesh lingered in the air, and it started to burn the inside of my nostrils. If that wasn't disturbing enough, they all appeared to be skin and bone. Literally. They looked as though their essence had been sucked right out of them. Their eyes: were sunken into the back of their skulls with lips the palest shade of blue I'd ever seen. The scene made me question the kind of world we really did live in. What, or who could do something like this to innocent girls?

The iron collar around her throat pressed tight, its hollow insignia cold against the burn of her omega mark. The other girls who were with her at the court hall all trailed behind her. None were set free. None of them looked at her, much less talked to her. A Hollow… I can’t believe that’s what I am. A slave for sex, feeding, breaking, and devouring. In the Kingdom of Murnokh, it was a death sentence given a name. The Hollows were flesh offerings taken to Murnokh’s bone halls to feed the Dreadborn’s hunger. Some were drained in days. Some bled for years, and none returned to their families.

POV(FIONA), Everything went blank, or maybe something like, mist covering the whole place, but it was preety different, and it kept changing, and now, I'm in the middle of a thick forest, and I could hear the sounds of the Forest animals, it felt too real to be an illusion. It was fine, as long as I'm not in the middle of some people, who just want to watch me being humiliated, it felt so good, and that moment, i thought.....

Not abandoned. Waiting. Ronan looked at me. "Welcome to the Hollow." The Hollow was a sanctuary. And a prison. Inside, the rooms were carved from rock. Simple. Cold. But they hummed with old power. Finally, we arrive at Dead Man’s Woods. Wade pulls over into the muddy parking area. I look outside the window, it’s pitch black and thick with fog. “Well, if this isn’t spooky, I don’t know what is.” Wade says as he turns off the ignition. “I hope you have big torches Wade, the fog is really thick,” Penny says worryingly. “Yeah, yeah I have everything including 2 tents.” He says with a smile. “What?! Tents! Why do we need tents?!” I shout.

My heartbeat had not yet steadied and I could still feel my arms vibrate by my side. Today's episode of healing mister Holloway was the scariest I had ever encountered in all my life.
