She had been there since twelve thirty. Over three hours. And Michael hadn’t shown up. Four O’Clock is the closing hour for the workers. Laila had started packing her belongings. I hope Two Hours Later. My bones ached as I sat on the ground staring in front of the door. My legs gave out earlier from the exhaustion, and I was forced to remain in the hallway as I waited for him. Earlier, I tried to leave for the kitchen under the guise of “bringing lunch”. Unfortunately, I remembered his orders. I was not allowed to leave until the end of the meeting. At first, I thought it was just going to be an hour or a couple of minutes, but I was wrong. It has been three hours - THREE, FREAKING HOURS and he still showed no signs of leaving.

“No one gets near them until they wake up.” JJ nodded. “It will be done.” I took one last look down the hallway that led back to the room where Jayden and Sammy were sleeping. Then I turned away. Without warning he begins to set off. “Dick.” I think. “Can’t even wait for me or even gesture that it's time to go.” We walk for around five minutes, and soon a series of caves comes into view.

The clock had started. Twenty-four hours.
